System sweep by VCF Virulence. Brigadier Leclere and I accompanied on escort duty. Patrols have taken us through the Tet ice field before, but this time we discovered an artifact of the recent war. The tactical cameras on the Virulence captured a picture.
A mostly-intact Valor. It's likely been pulled into the gravity well of planet Argeles, which explains why we haven't seen it before on patrols. Cursory scans showed that the on-board reactors are still humming, hence how the lights are still on, but many of the major systems came back unresponsive. No radar, no comms, except for an intermittent squawk from its transponder, where it reports as the former RNS Peremptoire. Our records indicate that this ship was last accounted for around the siege of Toulouse, and has not been seen or heard from since.
Naturally, we detected no signs of life. I suspect some criminal elements in Roussillon have spotted the ship before us, because it appears most of the weapons and external modules have been stripped.
Thus, I request permission from Marechal Laroux to organize a recovery operation for the Peremptoire, so that we may investigate the circumstances surrounding its disappearance, and mend the hull and internal systems to rechristen it under the charge of the Enclave. To begin, we will need:
The plan shall be to restore the ship to a minimum viable state of maneuverability, and escort it back to Aquitaine for more a thorough assessment at Issoudun. As this is an older revision of the Valor, it may require some special fabrication. These are concerns that we can address at a later time, however.

- A transport to act as a crew and supply tender. One of our Taureau-class transports will do nicely.
- A small escort complement for its defense en route to Aquitaine.

Training exercises were conducted today against enemy capital ships during which a Bretonian Battlecruiser by the name of Caronte interrupted. He was taken out by the Eviscerateur and Travere.
We were notified by Command regarding several unknown contacts on long range sensors in Dublin. Fighter craft along with the Enquete, Vigilance and Virulence were dispatched in a search pattern. We found BossVark_Haulage in a Bison working for Universal Shipping who fled to Exeter. The Enquete caught up to him first, asking for materials to aid our cause. Instead of complying, he opened fire forcing us to destroy his ship.
We gathered what remained of his cargo of uncut diamonds and returned to Aquitaine.

Bretonian forces were engaged near the Stokes wreck in Leeds assisted by the Royale Gauloise and other Enclave forces. Multiple fighter crafts were destroyed along with a Bretonia gunboat with no losses on our side.

A freelancer miner was intercepted and was destroyed after failing basic instructions. The gold ore he was retrieved with the Chapeauroux to be taken back to base. On our return we intercepted a Gaian destroyer that was quickly dispatched of. Shortly after an USI transport was stopped and destroyed after refusal to comply with our demands.
