Can't we learn to stop doing this and start putting even a little effort into actually caring about not completely rolling the other side? It's 2019. Why has this gotten worse and not better?

I don't know if myself, Shiki, or Whenaware qualify as aces either these days, but they are all people who actually make a difference (can serious deal damage/dodge for some amount of time) in a fight.
