Great animation... but gray font at dark background with small sized Agency FB? that is not good.
Agency FB makes things worse to read. That's for sure.

Avril 6th, 742 - Tunisie système

Welcome. Meeting. Interrogation. Meal. All in all, it was a short meeting. Longer than he had expected it to last for. Luckily shorter than getting captured, imprisoned and tortured. There were always excuses for torture. But that didn't happen, at least not this time. None of the worst-case-scenarios had occured. The Apahanta was still cloaked, waiting for the return of the Captain.

But this felt different. Maybe it was because his belly was stuffed with horribly consequential food. Maybe it was something else. Maybe just her. Right now, he felt Isabelle Montlaville de Chanteloup was less intimidating, yet still commanding respect. Respect and admiration. As she held out her hand for the goodbye, he looked at her thin arm, her hand. He took it, his eyes meeting hers. "On my ship, hopefully. So you will get to enjoy some curacaoan cuisine as well."

A firm handshake, a final glance accompanied by his charming smirk. Then it was time to depart. The Curacaoan climbed up the ladder to the cockpit of the Charming Rover. A few moments later, she tiny bretonian scout left the hangar and headed for the rendezvous coordinates with the cloaked mothership.

Back then, Ezrael had no idea how the war would end. But one thing was certain: No matter how it would end, he would keep his promise.

Farewell, Amiral.

Made small analysis, added to thread beginning. Which font sizes should be used for each font style for a font to look readable.

Here I will continue trying to explain which fonts are good and giving some examples

Sizes to analyze which are good:
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - 1 Obviously too small
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - 2 Obviously too small
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - 3 Default, it can be acceptable, but not with every font
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - 4 Preferably to use it as default or bigger size
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - 5 Quite good
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - 6
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - 7 Too much can be bad too

Fonts with default sizes to analyze which are bad to read:
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - Arial (default)
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog Too small for Agency FB
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog too small
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - too thin
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog Too small

Fixed size to medium for every font:
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - Arial, perferable increase to 4 size (default)
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - Agency FB Size 6 is mediumly good, 5 is minimum
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog Orbitron, fixed to 4 size
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog Oswald 5 size
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog Merienda 4 size
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - Cinzel - Too thin, make it as Bold Font to fix it! Plus increase size to 4
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog Monstserrat, just fixed to 4 size.
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - Overpass, just fixed to 4 size
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog Courier, fixed to 4 size
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - F25 Bank Printer, fixed to 5 size

Conclusion in font analysis: Every font should be used with size at least 4. Exceptions: Agency FB should be used with size 6 (or at least 5), Oswald is better used with 5 too, and Bank Printer with 5 too.

Colors:
Simple, then more they are colorful-bright, than better in general, no need to go dark with a dark background. You can find here color schemer, with RGB wheel which contains quite bright colors where using harmony options you can see their complementation to each other.
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog - Default color
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog

Or you can even this color schemer to see how colors add themselves to each other:

I'm a light in the world of dark fonts.
Or just a person with a common sense regarding fonts.

Wait, you're using my post as an anti-example but think your second example is better?

Not sure what kind of flood thread this is, but if you want to get taken serious or try to be funny, you're about as successful as Lyth in getting Cape Town back.

I do not pretend that my posts are 'ideal'
but at least they don't have regular mistakes regarding fonts which I'm pointing in this thread
and they have a more or less normal level of readability to my standards.

point is taken, probably slightly brighter colors should be used in second example, fixed.

This image itself is also a violation of some of the font rules.

He's got a point, grey agency on black background's kinda... Squint-y.

RE: How to make your font bad. - Sombs - 12-24-2019

Pardon me for questioning your common sense regarding formatting and font choices, but your example post reminds me of minecraft server chats.

The brightness of colors is a subjective matter. Many people use a very low contrast/saturation setting for their monitors. I have a very high contrast setting, meaning dark colors are brighter to me than to some others. It might be that it is just not enough contrast on your settings for good reading. A window in the room affects that as well. Meanwhile, using frequently changing strong colors like you do in your posts (the KSP posts are clearly better than the LPI eyecancer) is likely to annoy people.

If you want to criticize people's work, you might better use their respective RP feedback threads for that instead of feeling funny by calling them out in flood threads. The last thing I wanted to read today, after getting myself to get into the forum again and do some RP with friends after being done with this game, is some nobody voicing feedback like a vegan who can't shut up about being vegan.
