LPI is a significant producer of the consumer goods in Liberty, they fund themselves by manufacturing stuff by using the cheapest labor force possible, basically whole Texas is their industrial base and prison colony. Unlike the other police factions, LPI funds and sustains itself by its commercial activity.
However, 5kers should available only for shipping companies and certainly not for LPI.

They are fine as is. Not all corporations have access to 5k-ers and they are doing alright. There is Interspace Commerce or Universal Shipping to move donuts and coffee en masse.
