It'd also make it harder for newbies to ask questions. They'd type and type and everyone would seem to be ignoring them, WHEN IN FACT, they just can't see it.
Who honestly forgets to type /l ?
Or better yet, pirate in System chat! Far more amusing.

I forget alot, and when I don't I find it a terrible inconvenience.
I'd like to be able to toggle it for sure, whether or not it becomes default.
