The patch is in my signature, and here for anyone having issues:

If for some reason, that doesn't work for you - do this:
Open Computer > C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\dsupdate.cfg (change the path as appropriate if you have Freelancer installed elsewhere). Near the top you will see this:
