24 mill hour is rather good, if its a decent rp route. If its not, well, you can get up to 29 doing some things.
But, yeah, 24 mill/hour is pretty nice, and is in a range of routes where you get a whole lot of options...things above that get really scarce, and you start wondering about questions like why the Zoners, a 70 year old faction, is so rich. Or why common elements only come from one region in space.

why are you not doing the 60mil/hour run we all do? Cardi to Crete and Artifacts back to Malta.

Smuggling is still the best way to make BANK I think. Even more than trading.

I told you, smuggling/trading = NO DIFFERENCE as far as I'm concerned. As long as 90% of my convoys go thorugh I'm happy. So bring on the routes please
