Sindroms, if you believe that we all have to go there and RP everyday personally, then no one is in a better position to do it than you. Frankly, I'm not in that great of a position to because I don't have any characters in Liberty. If I go there alone on my Gateway), no one will really listen. If we go with a lot of people, and make a show, like a faction would do (*Cough*), then we can show them what RP is, and they'll listen.

There is also the fact that Mk 1 events are so incredibly fun anyway...

we do need something like this. Many new players start with the typical MMO impression of "ok, im on the server now how do I get as much money and the biggest ship as fast as possible" and that is why we get great messages like....
  • Whats the cheapest battleship?
  • Can I have some money?
  • Whats the best trade route?
And of course since they don't realize they should be RPing, we see things in chat without even a "//" such as...
  • If i run from a fight do I have to leave?
  • Micheal Jackson crap
  • How do I access discovery's new single player campaign?
  • Is this the biggest server?
The fundamental problem is ignorance of RP. We need to expose them somehow.

It doesent need to be pvp, its not the example we need to show them is it?

what do you suggest? In my experience as a merc, freelancer, smuggler, pirate, corsair, and order it seems 99% of RP ends in pvp.
