Five days from now - which was Monday - means either Friday or Saturday (depending upon your local time and that of Igiss - PM's WILL be gone.

To the best of my knowledge, we will not be making individual exceptions. If you don't have your work complete by that time - goodbye, PM's. (I suggest quick copy and paste to Word or something.)

I would like to keep corruption:

I would, of course, like to keep my index of ongoing stories and things I like to have links to around. http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?sh...c=45653&hl=

I again would hope that our lovely moderators will take the utmost care in preserving the Roleplay sections of the forum, such as Character Bio's, Watering Holes and the likes.

as well as some of the 'epic threads' from Flood.

Edit: on a personal note, I would like to keep this: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?sh...c=45879&hl=

Some of the "epic" threads in flood constitute 6% of the forum. If not more.

They look pretty tasty.

Unfortunately, in this particular case, Dusty is correct.

If there is something in those topics that you all are pointing out that you want kept - I suggest that you get it and keep it. The threads themselves may (or may not) actually be kept. I can say with certainty that some of the content of them will be deleted.

(And by his post, he means that ONE thread by itself takes up more than 5% of the entire forum. That's a bit much, so it's time for the briss.)

EDIT: Question answered, didn't see Carl's post.

Unfortunate. But fair enough.
Which thread(s) in particular are looking tasty?

This.

We'll figure that out when we get there. At this point, quite literally ALL of Flood is potentially on the chopping block. And I'm quite serious.

Now - realize that we're almost certainly not going to do away with all of it. But - that's what you pay us for, right? To make the tough calls.

... Wait a minute...

... What do you mean, they don't pay us? ...

... Who's bright idea was that? ...

... DUSTY! I beg your pardon...you never promised me a rose garden... along with the sunshine, there's gotta be a little rain, sometimes... (Oh, wait - that was Dusty Springfield, not Dusty Lens.)

Anyway - remember that our goal is to purge things so that we don't have to do this again for another 4 - 5 years. Keep that in mind - and keep your hot little back-ups going. (Which also means that when we're DONE purging, that you don't turn around and re-post something we deleted.)
