On topic, these requests will be visible to the public, correct? If so, then I don't see any issues from power abuse that won't be easily spotted and dealt with. n00bl3t, is that satisfactory? I agree that if these were done behind closed doors or via PM then I'd be a bit concerned too, but as long as we can all see them and (should something fishy arise) point out possible abuses on the forum then we're as good as we are with anything else.

Wholly transparent would give the system more credibility.
