Personally I never minded someone saying "I'll blow up your base". Because it can't be done. Well, not on an impromptu basis. It requires a lot of careful planning within the development of the mod and can be done, just not by random people on a whim. People should bear that in mind when they threaten this stuff - you will generally fail. Only threaten stuff you can carry out.

There was a nice dust-up near Deshima last night. I wasn't able to get there in time with any of my ships. So I went the long way around and staged a raid on Honshu. My 'powergaming' was simply a case of using what a character in RP might have said upon being captured - that he was the governor of Honshu. Who knows whether the guy actually is or not? That's what I was reporting ... in what was supposed to be a secret and classified channel, by the way ... to my Guildmaster in an attempt to gain him aids in HIS negotiations in the PUBLIC channel.

Metagaming? I suggest a mirror might better be looked at before complaining abut my behavior, especially if you're posting something like this publicly. (I do understand the issues because everyone thought it was about the Joker.)
