My connection hasn't been to bad, with the ping genraly
at about 94+, but I don't live in the states. Recently I have
had some problems where the RP server dosn't show up on
the server selection list. Oh yeah and the messages saying
that connection has failed keep poping up and disconnecting
me. When I check my connection is fine... Is this just happening
to me?

Hello!
I have lag Problems so that I even cannot aim the target in fights!
My system:
384kbit connection DSL
WinXP Professional with SP2
Pings between 70 and 250
What can I do, too speed up??
Sadly I cannot have a faster connection, becouse where I live there is no faster one!
Any suggestions? :(

I have been seeing intermittent yellow and red lag, and Ping of 143, from Tampa, Florida, USA.

It's 2007-Oct-8th 11:45h PM GMT and I can't even enter in combat so laggy I am. Had to leave the server. There are currently 54 players on. I am from Sao Paulo - Brazil. My average pings were:
www.centrum.cz - 269ms
www.seznam.cz - 335ms
www.hcn.cz - 406ms
No packet loss on any of them.

I wasn't on the server at the time of this ping but this is pretty much average for me. My location is Nevada, USA.

I used my modem to ping the server. It's about right. My connection is 1536kbps/384kbps.
When I'm on missions I usually get yellow/red lag, or when I'm traveling through a place of heavy activity. But this has been the norm since I've joined the server.

6:30 GMT+10 (about the time I'm making this post) the server had loads of lag spikes, mostly in the red zone.
My location is Sydney, Australia, but the lag usually is NOWHERE NEAR as bad as now.

But I have the same problem, first ok, then yellow, and ends in hours-long red lags... Wasnt happening before... Trying to get a better net...

Having lag with a ping of 36ms is nearly impossible, unless the server load is really high. I know that because I've played for two years with a ping of 250ms. Despite that, I used to be one of the best pilots around, lag and all...
If the problem is not related to your connection, then it might be a high server load... Or or your ISP performing traffic shaping.

Well in the last 2-3 days the server is behaving quite strange..... lag comes and goes... people that never ever had any lag suddenly get red lag for 20minutes even with 50ms ping...
and the like...this happens even with relatively low server load (60-70 players)....
I can see only two reasons:
- internet problems/server connection
- some server issues
