When did a battleship or dreadnoguht EVER have the hanger space for the amoount of fighters and bombers that the military forces of Sirius use?
Carriers stay, but changing the current Lib Carrier would be nice.

Well, lets put it this way, the Nimitz class aircraft carrier is 332.8 meters in length. A Liberty dread is just short of 500 meters in length.

It has already been displayed that the original developers of Freelancer weren't the best at accurately scaling objects and the like. Most caps are a bit too tiny. Most stations are undersized. All solar distances are hopelessly distorted. Size of model doesn't matter, as long as it's within the realm of quasi-believability.

You mean as in why there is no Docking Mod in Discovery? Simply, because it is bugged and ready for abuse. Who knows what would happen to the Server, because that Mod is actually unstable.
You can dock yes, but if you would be docked and the Carrier jumps or gets destroyed bad Things could happen.

I'm not advocating a carrier mod. I'm try to get an answer why the dreads cannot count as carriers already. If you read back a few post I think you will understand what I'm trying to do here. I'm just arguing that we don't need to have something labeled as a carrier for it to be considered a carrier when any battleship (Including cruisers) are more then large enough in game terms to hold wings of fighters.
Someone made the point that removing carriers from the game is a bad idea because what nation wouldn't want to own a carriers. I just want to make the point they already probably do.

Ah it's alright then. Actually, why do these Carriers even have Guns?:PHaving a Carrier fighting is way too dangerous for the whole Crew. Crew as in Thousands of Pilots (Freelancer Size). Aaaaand because Developers and Igiss would not want a Docking Mod in the Game, nor NPC Wings are going to be here Carriers are kind of the most unuseful Thing around here.
So Boys and Girls, you saw right. Replace Carriers. We don't need them. Battleships are also capable of having Ships inside. Just take a Look at every stationed Battleship or play the Single Player for a Little until the Server is back.
