Doubt that would work.
If they were Kanzler-zealots, they'd have to take orders from RM, who work for him directly... effectively making them RM-Junior... and RM's recruitment just closed this evening...

Why would say, a Rheinland Faction with a police tag for example, whose goal was to spread the light of the Kanzler and were basically missionaries, take orders from the RM? The 3 or 4 Corsair factions don't take orders from eachother, the LSF doesn't take orders from the SA, the Elissichary does not take orders from the Imperial Guard (Warhammer). Why would that apply here?

Right, so you want a religious faction?
Right. Let's take a look at unused factions, since they will be the ones needed.
Right...
We have, let's see, Farmer's Alliance... hmm. Are there any now-defunct religions in the Far East regarding farming? Maybe a sun god? Probably not...
Right, there IS an interesting possibility with the Order, although they are already taken. Ancient Egyptian religion perhaps?
What else don't we have...
GMG? I guess they are similar to Middle-Eastern nations nowadays, but making them Muslim would understandably cause offence, so any perhaps Ancient Arabic or Persian religions here could work...
Xenos? Some kind of 'Liberty is pure, Kusari is inferior' cult? Will probably cause real-life offence, but would fit the convert-or-die mindset.
There are currently no police factions... but I can't see them taking a religious role...
Anyone else?
EDIT: QV, they'd have to take RM orders since the Chancellor is the leader of RM...

The Chancellor is only the leader of the Rheinland Military the saem way our real world leaders are the leaders of ours. They have some influence in the way its working, but they are not the direct leaders. I don't even think that Virus has any of his Chancellor characters any more, effectively making the Chancellor less of a MIlitary leader then say the Admirals, and making him more of the Leader of a Country.

Yes, but this is the -police- we're talking about. While the military might not answer so directly, the police most certainly would.
Besides, being police would mean they would have to, well, police Rheinland. We already do that, thanks, and thus they would have to follow -our- rules of conduct. Sorry, but I don't trust anyone but the RM to uphold the RM laws. That's just how it works. And I won't have traders, other factions, and so on getting even more pissed off at us over a police faction we should controll but can't, and drag us into another war.
So, sorry bud, but my advice is to drop the religion issue all together. We have enough factions as it is already.
