You do realize that there is the possibility of changing .smiteall, so it both feeds ya to Schrödingers Cat, and then lets you respawn with all weapons in your hold except for mines, 600K above the plane at random systems in sirius, giving you the option of spending days getting back, or killing yourself with mines and loosing all equipment.
Cannon can make that happen - And he does have such a devious strait in him, if we force him to wear pants.
