We try to avoid using the Dests in front-line Leeds combat as much as possible (today was actually the first time they had been used in Leeds for anything other than repping). The Battleship is used purely defensively, and doesn't leave Bretonia core, meaning no Omega-3, no Cortez/Magellan, and no Kusari half of Leeds, regardless of the situation. As it's the mobile form of our intelligence headquarters, it also avoids direct combat when it can. Craven's Nest has been used for combat twice, against a Phantom Osiris in New London, and against a Corsair Osiris in Dublin. In my opinion, both were justified uses of it. Both areas are away from the front lines, where Bretonia is focusing its Armed Forces. This is actually part of the AG's roleplay. Due to the war, most combat forces were moved to Leeds and Dundee. This has left the rest of Bretonia weak, especially Cambridge and Dublin, both areas the Corsairs frequent. Omega-3 and Magellan/Cortez are also understaffed. AG| will be operating in those areas quite a bit. We've been in Omega-3 and Dublin quite a bit recently. The Albion Guard - Tupacalypse - 09-13-2010 You guys did great. I had fun. The Albion Guard - Osilon - 09-13-2010 At first I thought you were just capwhoring lolwuts. It seems I have been proven partially right. You're capwhoring /glorified/ lolwuts. And no, i'm totally not angry cause you ganked my GB with your two dessies. Q__Q The Albion Guard - Harcourt.Fenton.Mudd - 09-13-2010 What also disturbing is they violate their ID and demand cargo, clearly against the rules as the ID prohibits it for anything larget than a GB, and the whole zoner/Bretonia mess was started with that. First thing is first. Your ship was a Battlecruiser, I have the screenshots showing that it was. So Dab was well in the rules to demand cargo from your ship. Which should I remind you is a Warship. So nice try. Second, Tomoe remove that image from your Signature. You automatically think you can parade around and use it for your own good here on the forums, without my consent, you are wrong. The Albion Guard - Rodent - 09-13-2010 Looks good. And of course, very similar to Earth's Military Intelligence. There are more branches than the ones you have mentioned, but I think those are the important ones. What are your immediate plans? I assume you will try to collect reliable information on Kusari fleet movements, and leaders, and the Black Guard will attempt to take out someone from time to time based on the info supplied.... Swap Kusari for Gallia come 4.86 And of course, assisting with the normal war effort. What's your policy on informants? They can be very useful, innocous people doing their jobs but supplying information to you. |
