im sorry i have to be the one to say it, but if you cant reach fp9 for the reasons stated above, you must be a VERY lousy pilot.
however, i understand that people tend to build memorials, and sure, why not? but 3 freeports in 3 systems right next to each other is just too much.
actually, make that 4 - omega 41 has one as well. if another freeport was there, zoners would have something to shoot at after a long time. (corsairs)
edit: AND fp1 is just 2 jumps away.

So they don't count, seriously.

Yes, people tend to build memorials, and I see this site as an ideal location for a dockable memorial base of some sort, in addition to its prime location for neutral ground business.

I think we both know the point I am making.
Either way, I would support Corfu being scrapped and FP7 being rebuilt, or another base in the Sigmas for Zoners.

Furthermore, there's little activity in Sigma-17 in my opinion. One of the reasons might be that Corsairs and Outcasts don't fight over that space because they do it in Omicron Eta. I also remember times when the Juggernauts were supposed to be rare and not shown off "in public", which is what I'd call open space in Sigma-17.

I approve of this idea. Honestly, sounds great. And about the small activity in the sigma's, put some good trade routes coming to and from the memorial, youll see activity blooming.

The Zoners dont need to be everywhere, Unless that is they want to be fighting everywhere.

I just thought a Juggy would be a good form for this idea to manifest in. However, the current... deadness of the Sigmas is the exact reason I could see Zoners rebuilding what was already theirs, in memory of those who made it so. During the time I ran a Zoner (which I unfortunately had to strip for credits and sell DX ), I made periodic pilgrimages to the wreckage. I'm surprised more don't do the same, as I've yet to see a single person in S-17. The only times the Sigmas were active was back in the Diamond-Niobium run, in which traders and pirates flocked through and to, respectively, Sigma-13.

Furthermore, the Outcasts and Corsairs (in-RP) aren't really fighting in the Sigmas since the opening of Eta. Zoners don't need to fight over the solemn gravesite of Freeport 7. It was theirs. It still is theirs. No one else has a use for it.
