Taus problems.. A civil word? - Ivan - 12-29-2010 There's no "you're asking to be ganked" zone, there's pursuit. If IMG players want to hide under Java, it's not excuse to gank their interceptors. Although I don't really understand what's the problem with hugging Java. I'm fine with 8.33 pulses. Taus problems.. A civil word? - Chenzo- - 12-29-2010 A few of you here took your two cents and exclaimed on how I personally affect this situation, well I wil be honest I do affect it. It's not my fault that when I try to interact calmly I get shot at and other times when I choose to just shoot, it's not my fault to do so either. The point of this thread was pure and simple. I don't want to channel anger towards any one person or group. I simply want to get everyone here together to stop the rage and hate. Some of the best times I've had in Disco have been on =CR= chars, again, the same can be said for being on OC chars. Oh and suprise suprise, the -same- ammount of fun has been had elsewhere. Tau-23 with the groups mentiond seems to be the only area I personally find people rage and hate so much. Let's not argue any more on "who is to blame" eh ? Let's just sort it out. Taus problems.. A civil word? - Reacher - 12-29-2010 All is fair in love and war??? :D Honestly big props to the CR cause they were the ones who taught me how to lock down a system and frag every enemy transport insight (They never killed mine though:P) Heck they're also the reason why I can take on 5 wraiths and a Belgimir alone and survive in a Titan. If things were so bad CR would move their area of operation out of the Tau's and/or OC's would go somewhere else in there huge ZoI. Neighter side does that, so is it that bad or is it cause both sides enjoy it? In short everyone sucks except Elder Sergio Reyes (So cool (smoke) ), Elder Espi (Ouch my bummm), Mwerte (Pirate Master (bow) ) and Primitive (who pirated a Spyglass in a Titan :ylove: :ylove: :ylove:) So get off the forums and get in-game Taus problems.. A civil word? - Chenzo- - 12-29-2010 deffy, I both love and hate ye' dude, comments like that are an example of why I hate you. now stfu and behave. Taus problems.. A civil word? - Primitive - 12-29-2010 Actually problem I see coming from both sides is player hate, not character hate. You created picture of each other as evil idiots that got to be shot, once you're able to get over it and get in characters head and not players head you'll be able to function normally. I bet if you took any two factionalised people groups and put it instead OC and CR (to act as OC and CR) there would be no hate. You have too many personal grudges to play nice or to act friendly, so you're swimming in your nice pool of hatred. The fact you can't make a huge 101st-CR skype group and discuss is there is fact by itself, public thread won't get you anywhere but to eventually flaming one another and pointing fingers. Or your RP just became stale by non ending shooting each other in tau 23 situations, and if your RP is limited to only shoot each other then you do have a problem. Now as I said my personal advice is make a skype group, with every member of said faction involved (not just high member ones) and talk, get to know each other. Taus problems.. That's the thing I don't care:PI don't take anything seriously anymore. That's everyones problem they're to serious about stuff. As Ench once told me: "Do it for teh Lulz" Taus problems.. A civil word? - Chenzo- - 12-29-2010 well said, primm. Taus problems.. A civil word? - Achilies - 12-29-2010 All i can say here is Kudos to Linkus for the fine description of ya Chenzy and concerning the topic,if there is someone who doesent realise that this is a game and it should be fun or if theres someone who doesent enjoy playing it then he simply just doesent know how to make it fun for himself.Anything that resembles hatred toward another person because he happens to beat ya more than you beat him is just out of place. Taus problems.. A civil word? - Rommie - 12-29-2010 I'm not even sure I'm supposed to post here. As it has been said before, the hatred lies with the "OLOL CR SCUM, CALL THE DREAD! CALL THE DREAD! ENGAJUNG! ENGAJUNG!" Indies. There were times, not too long ago, when some =CR= members used to actually train with 101st members, giving eachother tips and stuff... just ask Baal. And that wasn't because they knew eachother OOC, it was because of a certain respect towards eachother. This was also taken into Rp, 101st chatting with =CR= while they were heading to Alpha (even if, well, we were smuggler-camping at the time). That respect still exists somewhere, even if Chenzo's Sabre is the only 101st tagged ship i've seen flying in the Tau's for the last few weeks(might be wrong though). Although seeing an official faction tagged ship roll in with a whole Indie harem behind him, yelling in the comms berserk messages has lowered a lot of that respect. This goes for both the 101st and the =CR=. And there's also the really stupid moments: One Sabre attacks Java when there's only two ships outside, seemingly idle. Speaking InRp, that Sabre should of went poof even before reaching the 3k range from the station. These kind of moments leaved me with a lot of bitter taste. And Chenzo, perhaps you shouldn't of made this thread, considering your first post in it, and the fact that you were just kicked out from =CR=. Come to think of it, we haven't had an event with the 101st since the one with that yacht... which was again disturbed by a horde of indies... Taus problems.. A civil word? - Ivan - 12-29-2010 Make events in distant locations. There're locations indies will never find unless someone of yours tell them it. |
