These IDs include, but are not limited, to: Outcast, Corsair, Pirate, Slaver, Privateer, Hogosha, Blood Dragon, Xenos, Molly, Unioner.

If you have any of the following IDs, and are found to be carrying Gate/Lane Parts, you will be considered Kill-on-sight by all Ageira ships:
- Pirate ID
- Junker ID
- Smuggler ID
- Lane Hacker ID
You will receive little warning when being attacked.

You put the Pirate down twice?

Ah, thanks for picking that out. I will correct that.

IND can haul gate lane parts? If not I have nasty evidence:D

Gate/Lane Parts: A Clarification - Echo 7-7 - 03-04-2011

IND are NOT allowed to haul Parts at this time.

Some time ago (a month?), we requested that anyone with a Contract to haul Parts send us a copy of their contract for our record-keeping purposes. IND made no such communication.

You better send me that evidence, in order to prevent a corporate war. A PM would be fine.

No way =P H4x0rs will recieve this evidence.

Bump.

It has been tweaked slightly.
The part about Indies requiring an IFF has been removed, as they should have something appropriate anyway. Having an inappropriate IFF is against server rules anyway.
Also, added Gallics in certain places.

Gate/Lane Parts: A Clarification - Echo 7-7 - 04-11-2011

Bump, again.

New addendum, concerning permitted ship types.

Also, DSE) are now permitted to enforce these rules.

Quote:Note: Underleveled ( < 30 ) players with Civilian IDs are exempt from the following 'rules'. Anyone found to be abusing this leniency will quickly find themselves on the receiving end of a FR5.

I made this small addition due to a near-incident that occurred earlier. One of my newer pilots nearly shot at a /restarted CSV, and I don't blame him for following his orders to the letter, but naturally server rules take absolute priority. I've made sure that the pilot in question understands that particular rule perfectly.

' Wrote:As for what your approach is and isn't. In role play, if you can't legally demand the goods or destroy the trader for non compliance it is indeed piracy. From a rules perspective, no it isn't.

Actually, the fact of the matter is, "inRP" Ageira wouldn't sell you the parts if you shouldn't have them, so anyone not on the list has automatically "stolen" the parts or got them trough illegal means (Read: OORPly), and ergo they are breaking the law inRp.

At least, that is the way I have always dealt with it.

I would like to applaud Sean and Echo for the list. Well thought out, aside from the few obvious plot holes caused by Devs, game limitations (as pointed out above.) and ignorance of some players; this should help Ageira's RP quite a lot.
