Well, they don't think they're above you in terms of possibility of getting a server slot, so i think that makes them pretty nice guys already.

I'd lie if I'd say I don't care whether mining has been turned off or not, but, as already mentioned, the average server population has been decreased indeed. There are no, or at least less i rus )))"-miners" around, though I guess that those will be replaced by "i russ )))-traders" within time. The deactivation of mining is no long-term solution for that problem.

They can all still go shoot rocks if they are concerned about the RP. Thats fine with me, bring back the hordes and let them mine for RP. But they won't, because? They can't make money.. I find their ambition to gather as many credits as possible, simply inspiring. :rolleyes:

I guess, one way of looking at it with trading at least they do get spread out and not bunched in one grid coordinate in one system.

In RP, nobody would shoot rocks if they just became space dust. An ion storm has mysteriously disrupted the resonant frequencies of key minerals in the sector, leading to a gross shortage...
How do you pay for all of your green ships anyway? Does someone buy them for you? Making money is valid RP. It's certainly more so than adding lots of z's and faux German to words, using a German surname finder, and complaining on the forums about server slots.

Unwelcome. I'm not a miner and I'm not Russian, but I know of many intelligent Russian disco'ers (*cough* Igiss) and I've enjoyed my mining convoy dashes and other experiences in the past.

Making money is Roleplay, I grant you that, but making money by shooting rocks and who also, scream OOC, f1ing when people come close and flying of the edge of the system to escape piracy, is not. Unfortunately majority of miners after like I just described. With them gone, I reap the benefits. We all do.
