"It's a Dam'Kvosh Artifact..I guess the power supply is still working, but it's probably damaged that's why the crystal is emitting those alpha waves. We should find the power supply and shut it down or disconnect it."
Suddently Eriksson notices a Nomad creature rushing towards them.
"****, it's an ambush, take cover and shot!"

Suddenly, the air shaft grid broke, allowing a man with a black tactical suit to descend above the creature, shooting several assault rifle rounds in its chest. The man picked a knife from his vest, and cut the line keeping him upside down, then he faced the small group that made the discovery. He removed his closed helment, revealing himself.
Jack Aubrey: Missed me? That shaft was smelly like hell.
But the creature wasn't dead, which made Jack to quickly turn around and plant a bullet in his head.

Joe looked with a cheeky grin at Jack and laughed.
Joe : What the hell were you doing in there? Why didn't you just come with us?He laughed again.
Joe : Damn, i already had my aim on the S.O.B., IF we encounter another one of those it is mine.
He twisted the gun between his fingers and slid it in the holster.

He looked up as Jack came from the big ventilation shaft, jumping on the Nomad coming behind us. Apparently the zone was "infected" and we need to take action.
Dave : Now I think we're set... uhh what an ugly being. Now.. let's see this marvelous object. Erik are you sure the artifact isn't self powered ?

Jack Aubrey: I disappeared, simply like that, someone wanted me dead, and I could not notify them that I would be on Planet Sprague looking for you, Eriksson or Dave over there. Stealth and silence can save your life my friend. *He controlled the clip of the assault rifle, and seeing it empty, he threw the rifle on the floor*
He then put a hand in his vest, containing a small radio.
Jack Aubrey: The local Bretonia Police Authority can aid us if everything should go wrong.. courtesy of the Bretonia Armed Forces. Seems like your little operation attracted some people, Synk. I think that you didn't even saw the HMS Marlowe in orbit. But nevertheless, they won't bother us.

Joe : All right gentlemen, shall we proceed?
With a joyfull look in his eyes but with a serious facial expression he set foot in the upcoming room, slowly, but surely.

Dave : To be honest when we arrived the area was rather empty as our remote outpost on the surface is nothing more then a simple observatory, now it started to be more important since the discovery of this object...
He looked again to the glowing K'Vosh artifact.
Dave : And you say it's a K'Vosh artifact... and more exactly, a phase jump manipulator ? or at least that's one of it's usage ?

Jack Aubrey: This is impossible, this place has been abandoned for more than 17 years. Something's not right here. This is not good.

Dave went with Joe and headed to the power source trying to deactivate it. As he started the deactivation protocols, he saw something approaching from the shadows.
