No side can "win" this event. The course of the IMG-Rheinland conflict is already mapped and only minor changes and additions will be made to that. So... you can really relax in this one, as no bases will be lost, no territories swapped, no FR5s will follow, no on can lose anything for real, whatever the outcome may be.

That's the perfect basis for avoiding OORP-QQ, frustration and hate =)


2. Fairness and Numbers

It's impossible for me to balance the numbers. So it is the responsibility of the faction leaders to make sure that their team doesn't unbalance the fighting too much.

In the event, likely the following parties will make an appearance:

IMG, ICMG, CR
their "allies" in the O7 conflict: RHA, RF, SCRA
against: RM, RFP, DHC

You see: 6 factions against 3.

Consequently it is essential for the event that:

IMG allies balance their fighting capacities with Rheinland forces (which would in reality be very powerful and numerous there)
No side is steamrolled by a huge gank (remember: it's not about winning)

It would be best if you had a transport character ready so that you can jump on that one if you see in the player list that it's not balanced at the moment. So you can still participate in the event, be a target for some time, until the numbers allow for the introduction of your fighting equipment.


3. Don't bring characters that should not be there

I realize that O7 is a playground for many factions, but not all can come.

This is an Rheinland-IMG Omega 7 political event.

There is no room for Liberty strike forces, Corsair fleets, Wilde attacks, Nomad incursions, Pirate groups popping up, AI-Cruisers, Order peeking in, Merc factions, etc... (no insult intended in the examples, I just named some random things that I do not think would enrich the event scenario)

If you think your group of players should make an appearance, you still have some time to contact me.

As I had a discussion, there is some clarification about Mercs/Bounty Hunters/etc.:

No Mercs, Bounty Hunters, etc. please.

Reason: Mercs/Hunters blur the political scenario, that is clear cut as "IMG+allies" vs "Rheinland". If you add Mercs, it's all about the question: "Who shoots whom" and "Who is on whose side". Sorry. I know many would love to harvest on the many targets present there.
You are very welcome to bring a character that belongs to one of the two sides. Nothing in between. Sorry.
