It seems like cruise drain is like 100x worse after installing these lol Q_Q...

Courageous Minds #3 - Caelum - 09-01-2011

Working without any problems at all here.

@Gytrash - that looks like the old dsace. I'm not convinced you have the new one installed.
@Camtheman - can you provide a more detailed explanation of the problem you see: what ship, what happens, etc...
@You_Wantme - i'm hoping another community member will help explain what you need to do.

@youwantme:

in windows xp and windows 7 ... its fairly easy.

you have your freelancer root directory [c:/program files/freelancer/... ]

and you have your zipfile.

when you doubleclick your zip - it will usually ask you were you wish it to be unpacked ... so the easy way is to tell it to unpack straight in your root folder - which would be: c:/program files/freelancer/... or wherever you installed freelancer.

the zipfile includes 2 folders - the EXE and the DATA folder i think - and upon unpacking, it will ask you if you want to overwrite existing files, which you can answer with "yes".

if you do not want to directly unzip into your freelancer directory - you can unzip both folders wherever you want - then you copy or cut them ... go to your root directory and paste them there - again ... windows will ask you if you wish to overwrite stuff - which you can answer with a "yes"

once done.... the new files should have replaced the old ones - and you re good to go.

It seems like when I turn off cruise on my Juggernaut it takes a LOT longer than it did before to start regaining energy...

There's another topic in the General Discussion forum with a poll relating to this as well so it makes me think something really was changed...

For the worse.

Much, much worse.

Cam, is this when you EK or are you completely out of cruise, i.e. what is your speed?

Courageous Minds #3 - Redirion - 09-01-2011

Order Hathor gunboat: when disabling cruise speed it takes ~10 seconds untill the energy bar starts moving from zero.

I have the strong feeling this is like 3 times more waiting time than usual.

edit: tested it both ways: disabling cruise and moving on with 80 m/s and directly braking to 0 m/s. Takes at least 10 seconds both ways.

<strike>Haven't upgraded it yet, so I'm gonna take a stopwatch to it...</strike>
EDIT: Nevermind, can't do that right now

Courageous Minds #3 - Camtheman - 09-01-2011

Not in E kill, when i just turn off cruise and return to normal impulse speed...

I just timed it, takes 18 seconds to start regenning...

to START regenning...

This seems a LOT LOT longer than before...
