Holy crap; that IS one epic gravedig. Nothing like getting a reply notification email for a thread on a forum of a game i haven't played seriously for 3 years!
On a more serious note, though, what you are seeing is probably not relevant to the initial growing pains of a very old update release. The mod has gone through 10 revisions since the last post. If you have some specific information about the issue you are seeing, (location, ship, loadout, symptoms of the crash, etc...) the support team can probably help you; but "this is still going on" won't be enough to narrow it down.

symptoms of crash are red lag about a minute before the server disconnects.
