Discovery RP 24/7 is the most populated FL server on the planet. I think there is no need for q_q. The other servers are happy when there is 30 or 40+ player...and it happens rarely.
But yea it is normal to lost interest in mod that is the same for years, no new fresh stuff.

Quite nice having "low numbers" allows the NPC's to spawn and thus my looting character gets a ride out.

Right now traffic is about where it was at when I joined, which was right before .85 was released. I can't remember a single time before that where the server got close to 200 players. Now that I think about it the server cap may not have even been 200. More like 150 and it still never got filled. Once .85 came out it picked quite a bit. The same will happen for .86.

Well, as a TAZ, I've learned to accept the fact that over half our members are "MIA", and for various valid reasons.
A few have said that they'll be docked until .86.
Most of them however are indeed dealing with "real life".
Instead of looking at the half-empty glass of low population, I like to see the half-full glass.. New players are getting a chance to log on, learn the ropes, and become valued members of the Community.
Those who are threatening never to return.. well.. there's the door.

Freeworlds isn't really a mod though, more like a conversion. I like SW universe, but it's something completely different than Freelancer one.
