Arms Dealers In NY - Kambei - 03-19-2008 ' Wrote:No, Conneticut isn't a good system. Bulldog explained that if an arms dealer was in connecticut, any player could legally attack him. they can be attacked legaly anywhere by unlawfull players:) Arms Dealers In NY - BULLDOGNK - 03-19-2008 Actually Thinking of this i will follow Hoodlums Advice and some Idea's on here, i will Turn the Mito Weapons Trader into an armory and Get Gurjiv to run it, That way we can sell to most Pirates and make loadsa credit Yummy:P Cheers Arms Dealers In NY - MrCynical - 03-19-2008 Encouraging people not to park above Manhattan is one thing, but telling them to move to Connecticut? The whole point of Connecticut is as a duelling system. Players can't duel in peace if there are sodding great weapons transporters who might get hit. Plus the fact that Connecticut as a system is buggy - I've been lagspiked off the server more often there than in any other system (and I spent very little time in Connecticut). As a trader would you really want a transport with unprotected weapons shipments floating in space for over a minute because of the latest problem? A far less RP-breaking way of solving the 'problem' of congestion in Manhattan would be for Liberty law enforcement to grant a 'pitch' to each arms dealer along with his/her license. For example 'only one arms dealer allowed in the Manhattan area' (perhaps with competing arms dealers bidding for preferred pitches in an auction), enforced by the in-RP Liberty military apparatus rather than OORP admin messages? Arms Dealers In NY - mjolnir - 03-19-2008 it was an "advice".... I'd say they are free to use any other liberty system... and for example above LA and Houston you have a BS for cover fire... It's just so silly and crashes server when you have 50 people in NY... 3 in Cali, 2 in Texas and 5 in Colorado... even better is all the lawfulls just ignoring pirates in those systems... I can pirate in Texas for 1 hour before one of those 20 lawfulls in NY decides to move. New York is ridiculous and it;s driven me away. Weapons Dealers Rhineland and Kusari are starting to get pretty popular, maybe you could be "brave", take some "chances" and do like the [Wellington] and work a different system. Heck the journey to hawk your wares from Kusari to Rhineland is not that far if you use Jumpholes. Arms Dealers In NY - trekster - 03-19-2008 The main point of this move was to eliminate server lag..of course I am all for it but as many have said Connecticut is a PVP System. What about all those mercs and bounty hunters without work? this situation here is a perfect example to get them working? Hire A merc Today! Hire a Bounty hunter today! Arms Dealers In NY - frozen - 03-19-2008 ' Wrote:Actually ure rich as it is, if i ran the armoury, f*** me, ull be richer! anyway, just like to point out, i was the first (successful) arms dealer who sprung up in NY, and, seeing business going well, i guess others oepend up. now, i dont sit on my armoury for longer than 10 mins, even if im waiting for someone. also, ive mentioned this quite a bit, if anyone wants the Armoury.001, 002, or such out, they can contact Proserpine, the mercenary wo is in direct contact with James Wilson, owner of the Armouries. so yeah...:) Arms Dealers In NY - TheDeliverer - 03-19-2008 hmm here's an idea how about we dedicate a system for armories?one without pvp but rp like some out of the way system that almost no1 uses? Arms Dealers In NY - frozen - 03-19-2008 heres an even better one, how about u all move off to cali, texas, or wherever, and lemme dcontinue my dealings in NY (jk:lol:) nah, that wont work. but yeh, i do strongly suggest noone sells nothing in NY, but in cali, texas, or wherever. let NY be, since it has enough OORPers to deal with as it is, having them crowd round the armouries, spamming lols and smileys doesnt help in the least. |
