This mystirious BHC guy has been me! I was CHASING Mwerte in his pirate char. Then I got kicked. And as I already told you in game I DID NOT USE F1. Why should I when I was actually on your heels chasin you?????? However I managed to get in again and you`re 14k away. Nevertheless I managed to get you again and you nearly died the second time!!! So:
1. if I would not have been kicked out you would have been dead for sure
2. I spared your life on the second occasion cause you we`re already whining about my logoff
3. I don`t see no reason at all not to resume a fight after a logoff!! And actually I believe if somebody gets kicked in a fight he HAS TO go on again otherwise I would consider that CHEATING and send to the admins.
Till now I had a few occasions when I or an enemy got kicked and so far eveybody came online right again and everything was fine again! So much so....
Sorry but you're wrong, if you disconnect whilst chasing someone, you should disengage immediately and then ask if it's all right to resume the chase, not just presume it is. If you can adequately explain your logoff people may be a little more willing to cut you some slack, but just DCing and then resuming chase that's against the rules and you should be reported for it.

However I would like to add then that after getting disconnected you have to get online again, cause otherwise I would count it as cheating. Since then I could always disconnect in a battle when I am dying and get back on later and say: Oh, sorry lost connection!

I have not fled the battle according to the rules!!! According to your post I used F1 to exit (what I DID NOT do) a battle and that is actually against the rules! And however the moment I got kicked you were 4k in front of me and I was CHASING you. So what do you mean by this???

There is nothing wrong with asking a player to leave you alone if your opponent has DC'd at any point during a chase, you cannot prove that it was a disconnect at that moment in time, it could very well have been an F1, it is ridiculous to assume that the person who did not DC is the one cheating, if you disconnect for any reason you should ensure that the chase or fight is still on, if it's not then leave, do not under any circumstances re-engage without that permission, if you do it to me I will report you.

plzz help i was in the texas system docking wen suddenly the game crashed to the desktop .now,wen i connect to the server it says "I'm sorry but that account is already in use on this server.try later".i have been trying for the past 1 hr.but can't get back in.plzzz help.i also dissconected several times.plzzz :(help!!

I really don't care in total. Since I'm not even sure if I'm even playing against a human being, I damn sure won't care if they F1. Seriously dozens of sanction reports are likely to be made about thwe same happen within the hour esspecially if done more than once.
Either way I feel little to nothing anyone more with things like this forums or other wise. It just seems death will come sooner if I'm moderately occupied.

Isnt there a message that comes up on the screen when you dc? it only appears when you ACTRUALLY DC not when you perposly F1 but no..wait people could just disconnect they re router to abuse this..bah any thoughts on this?

I find it usually easy to tell which is which, if a player goes *poof* in the middle of a fight they aren't losing I usually assume its a DC, same with when traders *poof* after paying. If the person who DCs is able to get back into the game they absolutely should, and when they arrive they should apologize and prompt whoever they DC'd on for how they want to handle it. For fights, I'm usually fine with getting our shields back down to where they were and starting it up again, and for DCs in pirating you should offer to pay the pirate right off the bat and by no means flee unless he tells you to forget it.
