Yeah tbh, this seems to be mostly just causing a spike in the amount of indie traders. Why make a contract when you and a pal can log yr no rp >4ks
Bases don't need medical supplies or various consumer turd so Cryer's got nothing extra from that side of it. Unsurprisingly we're not being sought out to fill h fuel contracts.
But we did get a base on our doorstep which has given us a lot of conflict activity.
As for pirates, who knows. I put up some big bounty on a bunch of zoner traders (I thought everyone loved to kill these?) And no one's claimed so far.
More activity, yeah. But not a comparable rise in interaction. There's no incentive to hammer a deal out with a shipper when you can just log your own indie alts

Bowex just hit 22 days of activity recently, and overtook the IMG on the leaderboard. That pegs us as most active on the server, at the moment.
We've had our own base and helped out with one other - but we're only actively involved in the first. The bases have contributed to an extent, but our activity was already extremely high anyway.
Still, we're soon going to be establishing a contract with a few other factions, so that should be interesting. That might boost things even more.
