RE: Jumping in Combat... - Veygaar - 02-09-2013 Make it so that if you've jumped to a new system, or the people you jump to a new system, that when you suiside, you just respawn 100k above/below plane in the system you jumped to? That particular case does not invalidate the tactic itself - simply shows that someone was being a jerk. But I will tell you a secret : - Bottlenose cruiser disruptor hardpoint is the weakpoint of this craft. - Yes two bottle have cruiser firepower, true that. Solaris exist aswell ? Si. - I can say that I know how to pilot a bottle, but 2 bombers, very experienced made me crazy. Here for me the debate is closed, also we can still continue via PM to avoid a useless/senseless " who is right or not ". I told you my point of view, which is the same for certain people here. I just used the same " tone " Difference make this world pleasant, amusing (full of possibilities) and rich. We have to remember it, sometimes. Why is it not like this right now? So, why should buying and using a very expensive piece of equipment to build and maintain be no different from blowing up? Why is it not like this right now? I have a vastly more powerful Jumpship, than that poor zonurcarrier. (I guess it's a zonurcarrier that i know about, right?) Guess what? I've managed to die on it against LN, and not just once. It all comes down to the amount of firepower you're willing to bring. Cloak ambushes help as well. Perfectly counterable, in other words. Translating - why the hell do I even need a Jumpdrive (and maintain one with Hyperscanner), if I can suicide on the planet/at the sun corona with same results? If it's a PvP death. Ask SFC| guys, they know how to. I'm pretty sure they'll be able to repeat it, since it's the same way me and every other sane person would be dealing with jumpers. As for LAC... Rogue LAC? I.e., Outcast ID'ed Rogue IFF'ed LAC, since rogs can't use battleships. A Carrier with red powercore nerf? How is that even a problem... or I don't understand something, and he got SRP? Even if he would be flying with 100% powercore, it'd be a nasty ship, but still possible to bring down without gathering a raid party. Sure, could just sanction him and it all be over with, but I'm willing to give him a chance to turn this into something other than "you will be cleansed" pew pew everything you see... RE: Jumping in Combat... - Veygaar - 02-09-2013 Just report him jeesh. Don't try to make a "balance change" thread based on the actions of a guy breaking the rules. |
