OK Jinx, just skipped ahead after reading a few of your posts to say that this does NOT cover if it has a great RP background, both in-game and on-forums, this is covering ONLY if they don't have that RP. I thought of adding the "If it has good RP" option, but decided that that was a bit obvious (anything short of official LPI having anything but Vengeances is possible in RP is my belief).

in that case i still find it surprising that even with proper roleplay - most people refuse the chance to let that happen. - a point blank "no" is what the majority appears to say. ( i find that a little sad, to be honest )
for me that is always about RP of course. - personally, i had no problem with scornstar flying a zoner juggernaut ( when the harvesters started ) as a flagship, although it would easily have been considered doubiously for an enemy to fly the most precious ship the opposing faction has to offer. - however, in RP, it made sense.
anyway - we can agree that its not gonne happen "cause the liberty BC is better" or whatever pvp reason someone might have. - but a proper roleplay background should do the trick. - arguing that "the BHG has good ships" is not arguing in roleplay, but arguing in pvp. - in Role, its not about the stats, - and i know that the BHG BC is better than the liberty one. - but its about a necessity demanded by the role to fly a certain ship.
saying they must not do it, cause they basicly have their own puts those that fly a foreign ship into the "rogue" classification, too. ( remember how the darkwings were attacked for flying liberty capital ships? - they purchased them before the BHG got their cap-ships .... and they were hard pushed to loose them .... will we enforce that for all the characters flying ships that do not belong to their factions, cause they may have their own now? - that *may* well mess with some ppls roleplay. - will we make exceptions? - if so, why do we do it for some and not for others, - cause some are established and proved their RP and others haven t ? - do we give them the chance to prove their RP?
anyway - if we have the option "yes, if proper roleplay is applied" i vote for that one of course, - but not even a starflier should be used without proper roleplay, - or should it?

are you joking? the BHG has a big and one of the best ship lines? are you mad? say for instance the BH BC now, that thing is weak as hell, even my corsair cruiser can take that thing down and the corsair cruiser is definately one of the weakest ships in the game... the BH BS? hmm how can u save up for that apart from getting brain damage from playing freelancer for too long, and the BH Cruiser thats jsut well not good enough, if you're going to do anything make a BH BC that looks good that inst weak and can hold its ground instead of making a fat starwars model, thats the only reason we use the Lib one!

Ehhhh,,,,just learn to aim and dodge with them properly?
You cannot compare a ship performance with an other because Skills has a too major impact on the performance of the ship in combat. Look at Asar Or Malinka/Milwaukee. They have ships weaker than the BHG BS, But They Know how to fly their ships, Because they are experienced with them.
If you fly them cause they are the best...You'll have trouble with the whole Liberty.
Unless you provide a good RP story like the MNS-Fantasia (OC Bret BS)
EDIT: Isn't the Lib Frigate BC whatever a SW ship? or a Lego ship...
