Our actions are being noticed. The cruiser "Hermes" was sent out into Tau-23 to protect our transports moving casualties from Sulawesi, and disrupt cardimine smugglers headed for bretonia. After many successful runs from transports we received a distress signal from the Hermes. The smugglers had taken arms against her to clear their path and sent out 4 Waran bombers. I flew out to her aid but the Hermes was destroyed. I took one of theirs in return and heavily damaged another. I was then chased from 23 to 31 to 44. I dropped a mine to keep them away but was too close to the blast.

Fleet has ordered our patrols around our Cortez border increased with the anouncement of new infrastructural projects there. It seems our enemies have aims of their own. Multiple reports have been coming in from our allied security forces stationed on Oceana Shipping Platform of a few trouble makers, one in particular an Outcast callsign "Armando".

The sniffer was seen engaging Oceana security forces and doing a rather poor job of avoiding the stations guns. Piloting the gunship Teucer, I moved in to engage. The poor Outcast must be a new recruit as he tried in vain to spam torpedoes towards us as we evaded and laid into him with our guns. His hull chipped down to nothing and out of torps, the pirate fled. My escorts and I headed for Planet Curacao for resupply and refreshment when our comms gave us alert of his return.

Rolling my eyes, I headed back to our launch platform and took off in pursuit. This time a nearby Gateway Shipping escort sped to our aid and assisted in dispatching the rat as he whined and cried through comms. His ship imploded under the melting onslaught of our guns and its wreckage burst against our plating.

I sent a quick thanks to our ally and headed home.

Armando goes boom

It was near the end of our circuit when deep scans picked up an Outcast transponder. We gave a scan survey and found the vessel matched Ranseur-class dreadnoughts noted before and called for back up. The Deimos-class dreadnought Prometheus was on station and made way to join us. A lone bomber was able to join callsign "4th Maxim". Prometheus discovered the vessel, MNS Jaime attacking Liberty Navy vessels NE of Curacao in sector 2-3 E-F. We quickly hailed the vessel and ordered crews to station. It was clear the Ranseur was sustaining considerable damage engaged with Liberty forces so we approached slowly.

The comms came to life with the garbled transmissions of the Outcast vessel, clearly crying and whining at their poor fortune. Maxim and our forces laughed at the surprising outburst from the enemy dreadnought and broke off, our guns never even warming up. We watched as the crippled capital ship sustained ongoing damage and careened into Curacao, breaking up as she went down. What a strange day.

Today while on patrol through the Tau's, dradis picked up quite a lot of activity in the eastern sectors of Tau 23. Sending out an all call to Crayterian forces, my cruiser was joined by Nyx pilots "Thunder Wolf" and "Sealtooth". Multiple Golden Chrysanthemum vessels were identified east of Java Station already engaged to a new paramilitary force calling themselves the Tau Republic. Never one to turn down aid when it shows itself, our small strike team joined these Tau fighters and engaged the enemy. The fight was a messy affair and continued to escalate as more GC reinforcements came in as well as Outcast ships of varying sizes. A Maquis fighter was even noted aiding us in our onslaught of the cardamine junkies. Our guns took down several of our enemies before their forces grew too numerous for us. In the end, space was littered with the wrecked hulls of many vessels on both sides and our forces had to withdraw.

The Ministry should be notified of this new Tau organization and perhaps a word of thanks be sent their way.

While patrolling Tau-44 I ran into a freelancer who was also carrying a pirate ID under the name of "Konstantin" who did not respond to my transmissions and attempted to run, I was unable to give chase and he got away into Provence. I then Scouted into the Roussillon(Tau-115) system to investigate into the communication from Natio-Octavarium regarding planet Toulouse. It may need some more terraforming but it can house humans and a colony planet-side. I also found a mine-field around the Tau-44 anomaly in Roussillon that would also need to be cleared away to ensure the safety of snub craft and transports, all capital ship class shields should be able to handle the mines and be un-bothered. I await further orders.

Our "Afternoon Stroll" went rather well. Once a small taskforce of CR, LIA, and ORDER ships RV'd at Sabah we headed to the Inverness anomaly. Once through we headed to the far side of planet Elgin from the West Avlemore Nebula. Once there the Vangaurd ship <V>Delphinus made a miraculous ploy against the Aux ships trying to search and blockade the system from our escape. The crew made a heroic stand and drew them deep into the black of empty space as we furthered our expedition into the system. We found what seemed like their home base that read Valravn Citadel that didn't quite look like a citadel. With multiple weapon platforms around said base. We also found a modular base just outside the Cortez anomaly that seems to be Aux operated as well. On our way out we saw multiple capitol class ships heading certainly in the direction of freeport 14 but didn't seems to give us any thought. We went through the Coro anomaly and the mission was done and we were home free. This concludes my report. Below are the gun-cams for said mission.

While heading out for patrol in the Cortez system a ship by the name of "BDM|U-66" on scanners but wasn't able to get close enough to identify. In sector E2 of the Cortez system we ran across it again, this time close enough to scan and identify. A Reinland military gunboat, of their intelligence agency. The operator dodged my questioning saying they do as they please, when questioned why was a similar ship found helping Aux vessels (confirmed by Hitman bounty hunters nearby) they denied the claims. Over planet Curacao I met a BAF vessel who had stopped them. The BDM ship being there was a violation of the treaty of Curacao and was told to leave. The ship started heading in our ships direction and it was told not to move into Crayter space. It didn't change course and was fired upon. The BDM|U-66 then fled to planet Curacao and docked. You may confirm my findings with Bretonian administration.

Having finally finished my additional courses planetside I was assigned an escort task for our freighter [designation: =CR=ISE-Pleiades]. Through and past Liberty the journey was luckily uneventful, but we were stopped almost immediately when entering Rheinland space by the local military forces. The officers ordered us to halt the engines and explain our presence, followed by an order to leave their house space. We complied to their demands - they escorted us out up to the middle of the Hudson system. It seems that our interpretation of the Rheinlander law was wrong, but fortunately the President of the Police Central Office, Mister Hans Wagner was available to spare us a few minutes and explain the issue, along with clearing up how the regulations are interpreted from an official standpoint. I informed that I will be relaying this information to Command as a member of the Fleet.

After that we were forced to take a dangerous detour, but finally reached out destination, the Omicron Delta system. I parted ways with Captain Leah Syverson towards Freeport 11 for emergency maintenance since my ship's reactor started to act in an alarming way. I will be staying AWOL in these parts until my craft is back to operational status.

Blackbox commlog rip:

To summarize: We were informed that no Crayter vessels are allowed in Rheinland House Space, without regard to their type, assignment or armament status - unless an exemption could be agreed on through official government communication channels.

Command,

It seems an increasing occurence when traffic is slow in the Capitol for Alien drones or light fighters to come within firing distance of the Yuma Orbital Defensive Grid, often babbling some nonsense. It is also worth noting that these strange sightings occur with increasing frequency accompanied by activity from the Inverness jump connection or Auxesian raids. Tonight was such an event.

An alert went up from passing Liberty Navy vessels of a nomad light fighter struggling to evade the automatic defense turrets. The Thanatos-class cruiser Hermes was dispatched at once to investigate and minutes later Auxesian bomber raiders meandered towards Sabah and engaged our forces. We were immediately joined in defense of Coronado by the LNS Kansas and the Salem, a vessel of the Liberty Intelligence Agency.

The suicidial Auxesians swarmed round and round, whilst the Nomad light fighter showing the simple tag of "Elune" struggled to stay alive simply from passing bursts of laser fire but nonetheless fired an occasional cruise disrupting missile at us, just to remind us of its presence perhaps.

Luckily, the nonsensical attacks ceased with nothing but superficial damage sustained, seemingly as the attackers ran out of ammunition, and with their ill-conceived plan foiled, the Auxesians fled back towards the systems edge, presumably returning to their hovels.

The Hermes maintained a vigil for some time but no further assaults came.
