Well... my first patrol with help from offirce Masker, he decided we should patrol Alberta, as it should be less risky for me, seeing as this was my first patrol, well there were some issues but i digress.

The patrol was from Planet Calgary to Planet Edmonton, and back, seems easy enough, but there was a very high pirate presence in the system today. As we were heading towards Planet Edmonton, we ran into some Rougues and Hackers, however outside of sensor range. On the way back we ran dead straight into a group of 3 Rogue Wolfhounds, Masket dispatched them easily. However the Togues were carrying pharmaceuticals, which didn't seem like they were going anywhere in particular, and were probably used for means they weren't made to be used for... About 30k away from the Ontario Jumphole however, we ran into a group of about 12 Rogue Wolfhounds, Masket engaded while i attempted to escape, with no countermeasures and 6 nanobots left, i finally managed to make it out of the scrap, and headed towards Red Deer station.

I didn't think it wen't too bad... apart from the me nearly getting blown up part.

  • Train carrying illegal gate/lane parts across the embargo refused to stop and was destroyed.

Field report of Sgt Jerry Shaw.

My shift started and I joined a group of LPI and naval officers to uphold the law as usual. Our first call was a report of smuggler in Colorado carrying medium quantity of weed. Me and sgt Maggard headed out and intercepted him. After some negotiations we agreed with him droping the weed and paying the fine later.
So if anyone spots this guy, fine him 2 million creds.

Shortly after that our wing recieved a distress call from planet Earie - a rogue gunboat was having some "fun" with the citizens over there. Upon arriving at the scene, LPI and Naval officers were already engaged so I assisted. Only complication was the second boat that appeared out of nowhere and joined the fight. Didnt take much effort for them both to be arrested.

Lastly me, Maggard and Will. Darkmoore engaged in a persuit of a outcast who had the nerve to pirate right under our noses. He managed to run half way to Pueblo Station, but that mid-way marker was his final resting place.

Patrol Report

First day back from vacation and I realize why I needed a vacation in the first place. First off, I started my patrol along the New York trade lanes and came across a trader with a police ID by the name of Smartch. He was carrying 5000 diamonds, and when he noticed me, made a bee-line to Manhattan before I could put two words together.
Well, I figured I'd run into him again and sure enough, I did. This time, I cd'd him and told him that he was in trouble with the law and that i expected two million credits to be sent to me. Boy, did the whining ever come. It's amazing how ignorant traders can pretend to be. Also, when you are trying to impose a fine, ALL the other traders feel the need to chime in and say how unfair it is, how I should let him go. "You can't prove those diamonds came from Rheinland." "You don't have any proof he was carrying diamonds." "Diamonds aren't contraband." HELLO!!!! Did IQ's just drop sharply while I was away? Notice to all you traders: Do not carry obvious Rheinland commodities into Liberty space. If you get fined, pay it. We are not pirates. We enforce a well stated law.
Well, I'm through ranting. The facts are, that he payed the fine, begrudgingly, made a few ignorant comments, and then left. Man, I love my job.

Not too long afterwards, towards the end of my patrol, I ran into a Hacker by the name of Saret.G. He was joined by a couple accomplices named, Zak.Knight and Bunter.Munter.Hunter. I was with LPI-Masket, as well as a couple other Navy boys and an Indie. The Hacker must have had hearing problems, cause he didn't respond when I told him to leave or face arrest. So, I kindly spoke louder in my comm unit. Unfortunately, he continued to avoid communication. So, after a third warning, we attacked. Saret.G was taken down ultimately, by Cthilhu, an indie I believe. Zak.Knight was finished off by myself. Bunter.Munter.Hunter is probably still running. Much respect to Alexander Cesaro, Hank Kapinos, the two navy boys that helped out. Also, to Masket, who always serves with distinction. And finally, credit to Cthilhu, who finished off the gunship.

  • Pursued a hostile slaver and his escort to the edge of an asteroid field, after a prolonged skirmish both were destroyed.

  • A trader was stopped who happened to be close by, and the pirate attempted to tax him, but was destroyed. Trader was safe.

Until further notice, I am going to have to resign from the LPI.

A certain member who shall remain unnamed (Ocampo) insulted me //as well as spammed me for a good ten minutes with random letters// whilst accessing the 5kyp3 protocal.

Until this situation is dealt with, I shall not continue any patrols in my Liberator.
