Hmm, I am not sure about the new model of the Mastodon if I will like it or not. Think I will wait for .87 to come out and then judge.
Speaking of models: Any other ships that get a new model perhaps? Perhaps something new for the Aquilon like this?

akegata is kind of iconic even if its a background-starwars-import ... not sure if there are plans for replacements atm - but if someone comes up with a nice replacement - why not.

Dev update:
- Order gunboat reverted to 4.85 version per faction request. Created a better SUR for it though.
- Checked and corrected LOD values on -all- ships. Many of these were set way too high, which causes ships to be rendered prematurely. This causes an unneccesary amount of graphics load.

A few worse ships, but most of which have replacements slated for 4.87 last I checked. The Waran does have a replacement coming, right? Though... X-Shuttle? Firefly?
Plus there's the ships which are technically sufficient, but have low-quality textures or the shapes are just unusual. Mammoth, Havoc, Pilgrim, BHG Bomber.
Aside; have you received the Grizzly replacement (texture)? The creator says you should have received it already but didn't get confirmation from you. Also, I haven't really been in contact with Lohingren so I'm not sure if he's finished texturing that certain model I asked him to do.

I'm nearly 100% certain that there was an Akegata replacement made.

... you folks should really read up. Most of those ships have already been replaced. The X-Shuttle is due for a replacement too. The Camara is not. Kujira and Akegata replacements that were mentioned haven't been received by me, so as it stands, no replacements planned. People can make all the previews they want but if the models don't make it to my inbox, that's all they'll ever be.

Also, why not investigate if some of those "preview" ships ships yourself? What if the creators are unaware that now is a good time for them to be submitted?
