The Bass Hunters know this, which is why they informed you of the fact every ship considered to be Bass Hunter is not part of one massive being. That sanction really just seems to be damage control as a reply to the non-stop complaining and whining done by base owners who are now afraid of losing their own base. I've seen multiple instances where the owners of bases broke rules constantly, yet they aren't even warned once for it. Why? Because the Bass Hunter choose to take it like men. Instead of crying at the lemons Discovery gives them, they just devour them and move on. From experience, this really makes for a lot more enjoyable playing environment. Can't see I've seen any of them use emotes or leetspeak or identify themselves ingame by their Skype or Discovery forum handle. RE: Bass hunters dedicated feedback thread. But from the other side - I'll be dumb blaming only in all the bad happenings of Disco. I dislike the facts, but they say that a good part of community is bored, tired, pissed by numerous reasons, thus playing it all that way. It means that the over all level of gaming experience is not that good, and the number might increase with time. Yes, I don't like my fun source I've used to being gone, that is why I dislike this whole concept of yours and try to justify RP fun. But from the other hand - it is pretty much clear for me why do you do it, so I don't feel like making you enemies of mine or so. It is a conflict of POVs, concepts of gaming.... And you keep repeating words like "bases, ids, corsair, etc". I can't accept your justifies because of the phrase I quoted above. RE: Bass hunters dedicated feedback thread. Rage away. - Yber - 07-24-2013 If someone can impose himself without cheating, why shouldn't he do so? This reminds me to the good old "I'm roleplaying an ace pilot, you can't kill me". Quote:I suggest you learn the difference between an ingame group, as in, a bunch of player characters flying the same colors and a PLAYER GROUP, which are just a bunch of people playing together. There is not ingame bass hunter group. There is no such faction. There are no tags, there are no IDs, there are no naming conventions. The Bass hunters are a group of PLAYERS with independent CHARACTERS playing with other PLAYERS. RE: Bass hunters dedicated feedback thread. Honestly, Sindroms, creating a group because you want the community to go "your way" is slightly over the top. And Tell, I agree that if there is 100% provable Rp then they should exist, but right now it's not going on. Wrong, Indie corsairs are not meant to follow faction guidelines though I do recommend RE: Bass hunters dedicated feedback thread. Rage away. - sindroms - 07-24-2013 I should have worded that "This is not an INGAME group" instead of "RP group" It is a "GROUP of PLAYERS" as in a "PLAYER GROUP" RE: Bass hunters dedicated feedback thread. I only with that we never had PoBs and Cloaks in a first place. Too many flames around them for little activity income. RE: Bass hunters dedicated feedback thread. It's the admins rights to make the rules and interpret them as they wish to, to dictate this server, if they feel like it. If they feel like you are interrupting RP and gameplay by the way you behave here, then they have to step in. They should have done so even earlier. Seeing the 0.0 "rule being erased" was a bad thing, now everyone feels like they can do what they want, as long as it's "within the rules", even if it isn't along the "behave yourself" part anymore.(07-24-2013, 10:16 AM)Jack_Henderson Wrote: Count the bastilled caps. This environment is a lot more enjoyable for you, maybe, but obviously you lack the feeling of remorse to others. There is a really fitting description for your condition, but I'll keep that off here, as it might be misunderstood since most people connect it to more "drastic things". You have the right to play here until the moment that the people who lead this server decide that they don't appreciate your presence anymore. Obviously that point had been reached before, and just because you know how to circumvent the ban issued upon you, you are back now. Obvious is also, that most people do not wish you to be here, even if your little group has the "loudest voice" on the forum. Most people just quit quietly because of you: they just don't log anymore at one time. And players just starting out get trashed too early to really get into the server and the forums a lot. Don't think of yourself as being innocent, you know exactly what I mean. Your metagame'y piracy, your metagaming to hurt people... Yes, it's just pixels. But the time put into them - that's still REAL time. And while you might have no value for such, other people do. But you just don't get that. It's just beyond you. First of all, the purpose of a game is to make the player have fun, no doubt. But you are ruining the fun of others just for your entertainment. People put time and effort in their bases, based on roleplay and you just go there and destroy their bases without proper reason? You expect others to respect you, although you aren't respecting others. It's an roleplay server. If you can't cope with that or just don't want to do rp, then leave. Basicly, we could do the same. Form a player group to just destroy your ships. Just like that. Totally out of roleplay, but you don't seem to care anyways. RE: Bass hunters dedicated feedback thread.
