How do you know they were ignored? Just because they weren't implemented now, doesn't mean they are being discussed.

Think of this: You and others are working towards a goal/milestone. You have put in a ton of work into this, and are nearing the end. Then, others from a different team offer up ideas. Good ideas mind you, but you have already put in enough effort and time into it, that changing it this far would just waste the time already spent. But, you log those ideas for later use.

Not saying that is exactly the case, but you are assuming/basing your argument that nothing you or anyone says gets through, when in fact it has, but doesn't mean all will be used everytime or at once.

This game needs less limitation, and more cool perks and money sinks. Scanners can be that.
Different scanner, for different tasks with slight advantages over the cheap normal equipment for exorbitant prices... that's the way to go.

Restriction is hated by everybody, especially if the restriction is not even about gameplay balancing but done to keep the name "Battleship scanner". Gameplay being forced to keep an infocard intact that says "only BS can mount BS scanners?" Hello?!

Gameplay > Infocard!
Cool stuff > Nerfs+Restricion

This is an ABUSE!!!!

Now... Advanced Deep Scanner, the best one civilians we can use... all droped to more than the half!!! What the....

Before was Range 14000 cargo 6000, now Range 6000 cargo 2000 !!!

Oh.... so.... again, small ships, like miners less oportunities to avoid bad guys.

We have no enough shields, we have no enough weapons, we have no enough speed, and now... we have no enough scanner to detect them in time and run away...

So now... or we pay them, or we will die... as always. No chance... sad.

Thanks for not thinking in small ships... this is turning so hard to work as miner...

Uhm as far as I saw ingame scanners stil have their old range.Infocards just abit messy..
