Pavel? Oi!

Anyway, solid RP and solid PvP from a particular Corsair.

Perhaps you should tolt those 'others' to stay out of the brawl and not to interfere with 'official' matters but that's not your fault - from a former [RM] btw Wink

Heyhey! Smile

Kudos for yesterday's fight against the TBH group.
Thank you for keeping the numbers even during the whole fight and for not dragging it to the battleship, etc. A rare thing these days and a really nice change.

One suggestion: You could think about unequipping some missiles. As the main target, there is just nothing one can do when that many missiles are coming in. I burnt through all my CMs and then lost all equipment in the end, while the screenies show that you still had lots of missiles left.

Just my personal opinion: the fight would have been tenser with less missiles. Subjective pov, ofc. Smile

Still, a really good one! Definitely hoping to do that again!

Thanks for the feedback.

I often noticed that we kept bouncing between gas pocket field and battleship. Fun times, trying to avoid both.

About the use of missiles: I have to tell you that I personally disagree with you in that regard. While you choose your equipment, you have to carefully consider getting a missile launcher. They can be quite situational and become useless if the enemy knows how to time and portion his CMs. An improvement towards your issue could not to burn a minimum of 2 CMs per missile warning. More often than not I noticed that even a CD could trigger a few CMs from you, resulting in you losing your CM ammo quite quickly. I for one used about 1 CM for each torpedo you launched, and it worked really well (I still had 110 CMs left). Alternatively, you could also try to dodge the missiles but admittedly, this can be quite difficult against Firestalkers, depending on your ship. You can see that I had more than enough CMs left at the end, since I tend not to use CMs when CDs approach me. You can get a feeling what kind of missile it is when you check how fast it is approached, indicated by the frequency of the missile warning. If the amount of beeps per second rapidly goes up, you know it's a CD in most cases. That's a tip from myself how to approach that.
Personally, I don't think that there is a need to get rid of some missiles for our ships, as we lose one energy gun for a launcher that might not even be useful against a particular enemy.

From my PoV the fight did however drag on too long. Detaching missile launchers would've prolonged the fight even longer. Nearing the end, I got out since the length of the fight started to tire me. (We fought there for roughly an hour, if not more.)

I definitely hope there will be a rematch, and look forward to future encounters.
