The membership of this [HF] parallels the membership of the old [HF] and has support from leadership of the old [HF].
That basically makes it the old [HF] reborn again.

Ok you guys win *laugh* i stand corrected this HF is the old one. Not at any point did they cease to exsist or infact DW was incorrect by actually starting as they were always there playing HF, we just didnt see them in their cloaked ships and didnt hear them with their comm's on silent mode.
I take it all back every comment, i think its great they are all back playing Freelancer. So what do you all think of the new update?

It is fair to say that the current player faction using the [HF] tag are the spiritual successors to the original [HF]. The faction tag and assets (forum account) has been passed down for them to use.
The history section of the Faction Status post for the current [HF] is labelled as "//incomplete" because, rather than copying the faction history of the 'old' [HF], it is being rewritten and revised for clarity and relevance in current-day Discovery. The key historical events are not being changed, and other important or supporting events are being fleshed out (some of this was absent in the 'old' [HF]'s writeup but was passed down internally).

I guess some memebers here were part of [HF] before it was disbanded, I can't really point out any HC members of old HF that are members of this one, besides Savas.
Even if it's plain members we're looking at, it's still like 3 members total or so.
Does it mean I don't like what you've done? No. I like it very much. I just don't think claiming as HF-reborn is right. Maybe I am just a grumpy person though.
However, I do have some questions about events I am not too sure you are aware about, mainly talking about the Kinnard-Brass conflict.
How will this new [HF] will relate to those events that occurred back then? How will you regard Dane Kinnard? Or perhaps the other fighting side - Markus Brass' ?

The aforementioned faction this thread is dedicated too is a nice bunch of chaps with a deep and meaningful lore that one can admire if they so chose to read such literature. The behaviors and characteristics of the player in said faction are of great honor and dignity. Carry on the current path and earn eternal redemption in the form of official factioness.
