I think my first cap (indie LN) will be LNS-Platinum.Eagle or maybe just LNS-Platinum (if it's not taken already...)

I find things just pop into my head.

I always go with simple one word or two word names.

My cyborg's juggernaut is named

Midsummer Night

obviously House capital ship names are named after states/provinces/famous leaders/ect

I was thinking of naming my Rhienland Battleship RNC_Freya

In the SP campain, the RBS's had real simple names...

Odin... ect.

However, I still wonder where Wotan came from, the BS the two defecting rhienland agents destroy with 4 starkillers. It sounds kusarian.

I have a Gateway ship called Devonshire.

A Kusari Explorer called Curiousity.

And my Liberty Navy gunboat is LNS-Interdictor, on account of the role it's primarily employed for - embargo enforcement.

And I'm curious... Is there an LNS-Enterprise out there anywhere?

Yes. Yes there is, somewhere.

I've seen it, don't know whose it is.

My smuggling vessel is called the "Schweizer Stolz".

"Swiss Pride" in German, and it goes well with its reputedly Swiss captain.

My smuggler is named The Kilkenny Kraken.

Because it's big, it's bad, and it's Molly.
And because the name sounded cool at the time.

My [LN] Grizzly is named Climax.River.

Go figure.

Yeah, you got it, it's a place in the United States.

DSE transports are all named after north american mountains, so that gives us a bit of a direction to start off with.

Naming your ships - Bear - 09-23-2009

HMS White Bear was an early research vessel in the British Navy and when I saw that name on Wikipedia I just had to have it for my researching ship.
