It's not hard to stick to a set group of ships, I think ship limits should be part of a factions post so new players that want to join a faction know what ships, if any, they are limited to.

As soon as the Talon and Ravenclaw get downgraded I probably will restrict us to borderworld ship, though technically we can use the Ravenclaw and Talon. Since they are both sold on Zoner bases and constructed by the Zoners, though I personally will be going back to Eagle for my fighters. Well not all of them 6 is too many for one single fighter...

Dab you seem to be taking it for granted that Igiss will detune both these fighters on
your say so ... Isn't this a little presumptuous. I'm a fan of the one design principle
and if everyone has them, the skill comes from just the pilot and his choice of loadout,
not the ability of some to use chequebook methods of beating the opposition.
We may as well go back to Vanilla ships all round if we lose all the work Igiss has
created in putting them all here in the first place. I thought the idea of a so called
balanced mod was because Vanilla wasn't considered balanced in the first place.
We all seem to losing sight of the point of all this, when the *balancing* becomes the
whole point of the exercise and not the game.
Its Igiss's mod and everyones whining about balance, some of who actually seem to
know nothing about it, won't help our cause.

yes, maybe all ships should get an special ability or something..dunno. And btw how to solve the codename flood? Codenames are prototypes i remember and since when every second non capship uses prototypes.

As soon as Raven gets downgraded, i will be going back to the Sabre. I like that ship most. I swiched to raven because it allowed me to use both 6 energy weps and dual cannonballs, and that is the best setup to my fighting style.

Hoodlum, I'm not assuming he is going to change it on my whim but I have no doubt he would like to hear from the people who use the mod what needs edited to make better. Less work for him, we check it out and discuss what needs changed instead of him doing all of the work.
