Ease of name change and ranks, BAF - Athenian - 10-06-2008
Surely the easiest way to distinguish rank is by olfactory methods. Quite simply, the lower orders smell poor. Arriving to a to-do in the Taus recently, I found it quite easy to distribute orders by simply assigning the worst jobs to the proles who gave off the most offensive aroma.
Hence, my suggestion for
BAF|Name(Human excrement) for ensigns
BAF|Name(Rotten cabbages) for Lieutenants
and obviously
BAF|Name(Lavender Soap) for Lord Commanders
and so forth.
