There was a large scale military operation in Magellan by the Bretonian Crown just recently, and I was lucky enough to arrive there just in time to get some action. The Gauls were caught by surprise and they were unable to counter the raw strength of Bretonian and Liberty capitals. As the Brets prefer to sit in their large vessels rather than bringing a fighter or two to cover them, I had to mop up the smaller ones.
✦ ✦ ✦ Justin Blake Major, Atacama Cohort RE: Torshavn Comm Network - Shalo - 07-25-2018 ![]() Evening, lads! This afternoon I met up with GG-W-Annora.Ash and GG-E-Atheris.Hispida just outside Torshavn, while they were talking about the gallic royalists. They suggested that we headed to Dublin, so that's what we did. As luck would have it, on our way there we found three gallic ships close to the Dublin Jump Gate. Obviously, that sparked our curiosity so we stopped and a conversation started. The one on the gunboat was a particularly fun lad... or was 'he' a lass? Come to think of it, I can't remember. I went through my data logs from the flight but I have a really hard time telling some of those stranger gallic names apart. Anyway, that doesn't really matter. The funny fellow I mentioned seemed to have a message to us from their admiral, although to be honest, I couldn't really tell if he was being serious or just making fun of us. The letter he was reading was quite ridiculous. Almost insulting, in fact. From what I could tell, they wanted us to change to their side of the war, of course their only argument was trying to claim that Bretonia was terrible and we would be better off with Gallia. Needless to say, with two gallic fighters and a gunboat right in New London, it wasn't long before we were greeted by William Sutton, Nicole Brennan and a few others from the Armed Forces. They cut our conversation short and drove the hostile ships away. After it was over, we decided to head back to one of our facilities. With Regards, Richard Chapman ![]() RE: Torshavn Comm Network - Shalo - 07-26-2018 ![]() Good morning, fellas! Last night, I was informed the Unioners were organizing a small convoy, so I took the GG-The.Naturalist and met up with them on the orbit of planet Crete. After our cargos had been loaded with artifacts, we took the Omegas-Bretonia route to Mactan where I unloaded my cargo. They informed me they weren't going to drop off their artifacts at Mactan, but instead at Cochrane. I decided to tag along them and the trip to Ontario was very smooth. However, we did encounter some serious problems when we entered New York on our course to Bering. We were intercepted by several lawful ships. They were quite agressive towards us. They kept saying something about us being 'enemies of the state' or whatever it was. Out of the three of us in the convoy, I think they found me to be particularly impolite, for reasons I could not grasp... I think they probably wanted sunbucks coffee but were still in the middle of their shift, so they were a little on the grumpy side. They showed no mercy to the Unioners, quickly slaughtering them. Unfortunately, I forgot to take footage of the events from that moment forward. I was offered a chance to live, if I surrendered. I decided to try to take that advantage to find an opportunity to escape. Needless to say, since I was flying a large transport without countermeasures, I stood no chance despite my best efforts and the ship was eventually destroyed. However, in the midst of all of this, something curious did reveal itself. During the commotion, the Unioners did mention that, for reasons they didn't specify, they now consider Battlegroup Harmony to be an hostile force. In the end the Gallics brought a small Fleet with a Battlecruiser and several Snubs into Dublin. Since I was in my Arrow, I could get out of there by draging the fire on me with a nice poem. Cause they offered us a way to escape, if we do a nice poem for them. Seems they didn't like Chapmans poem but absolutly loved mine. As they used all forces to hunt me down, where they failed. But that gave Chapman the opportunity to get out alive too. I will attach the audiologs at the end. I modified the logs so that the quality is better at the important places. Chapman and I were running a routine patrol of Manchester when we encountered a signal originating from the Coronado hole. Turns out some oversized barbecue of a ship was doing some snooping around Salina. Took us half a tick to find it since the size of it rivalled ten tonne kettle bell. Damn thing was tighter than a duck's butt and not even Zealot could get a squeak out of it. Seems our attempts to contact the collective have gone on the wayside.
![]() Needless to say the conversation was as colourful as a monochrome painting of a tombstone. We concluded the hunk o' junk wasn't a threat and returned to our stations at holmfirth. I'd imagine the colonials' will destroy it and repurpose it's parts for napkin holders if they haven't already. Ride along as one crew and free my brothers. Peace out. We were doing some serveillance of Magellan near Freeport 4 when we caught this one trying to slip by. We'd been watching his movements through Leeds and caught up to him when he headed our way. Not every day you catch an agent of the crown.
![]() We pried him for information on their fleet positions in Edinburgh but he's either as stubborn or stupid as they come. RE: Torshavn Comm Network - Shalo - 09-06-2018 ![]() Good evening, fellas! Today, while flying through Manchester, I found a transport belonging to the Golden Chrysanthemums and a fighter, who I assume was one of their sympathisers. Their transponders displayed the names GC|Y~Amaririsu and Sakura.Miyasaki, respectively. Since it's unusual to see them in Bretonia, I asked them what they were doing so far from Kusari. They claimed to be there on a tourist trip to buy tea and bring it back to Kusari. It felt like a fairly lousy lie, but I didn't press the matter. They tried to ask me some questions about The Guard, until Flora arrived. Soon after, the conversation turned into a debate about slavery and their hyprocrisy for claiming to be disgusted by it but still chosing to do business with the outcasts. Regrettably, we had to leave before we could convince them to abbandon the system. Today we went hunting for some big game skulking around Cortez. It took some patience but the vessel finally surfaced, though it wasn't an Enterprise class liner as we had presumed. It seems Orbital Spa are investing in some heavy armaments, so they claim, to secure their holdings on Curaçao.
Code: [10.09.2018 19:21:09] GG-E-Druid: The tourism industry seems to be rather decked out these days We seized the opportunity to eliminate this behemoth while we'd caught it unawares, lest it interfere with our operations in the area. Though the Curaçao orbital defense grid was quick to secure the vessel after we'd scratched the paintwork. ![]() The captain was kind enough to provide a little personal farewell prior to disembarking. I'm sure our propaganda printers would appreciate it forwarded to them as an avid reminder of the pig headed, manipulative nature of our enemies. Muller and I were kickin' it on Holmfirth when we got a call to make a light arms shipment to our friends in the Omicrons. Luckily for us Justin Blake and Lars Dross from the watchers were able to watch our backs for the trip. Four of us set out from Holmfirth and met up with the the lovely Flora who was able to provide further assistance from the deck of the Raven. For a while it looked like the BHG were settin up to sting us in Omega 5 or 41, but as luck would have it the RHA showed up and gave 'em something to think about.
The goods arrived safely and we took on a corsair military fellers lookin for a lift to Omicron Delta. After droppin' em off at the Freeport there we loaded up with Iridium and started off on our return journey. If every run through the omegas could go as smooth as butter like this then i'd die a rich and happy man. The ground crew are offloadin' the goods as I speak. ![]() Ride along as one crew and free my brothers. Peace out. You know our orders, could we meet at Torshaven and discuss the the changes of the "LWT Weinsberg" ? I took a look at the Ship and well, the LWB tried their best I guess, but there is only a bit of Duck-Tape holding the ship engines together, not speaking of the very bad welds that were made to hold the hull together. I am not a trained engineer, but I picked up a whole lot of knowledge in my life. And well as long as it this "simple", even I can improve it, surely with your help we will manage even better results. Maybe you want to take a look at the ship too, than you will see what I am speaking of. Don't get me wrong, as you might know I saw Unioner Engineer skills, are the Gaians close to that ? I don't know much about our Engineer skills. But did the Gaians tried their hands on Rheinland technology before ? Signed, Lars Dross, Guardian, Torshaven Space Port, Camebridge Transmission Ended… |
