NoMe, your reasoning and french-english still sometimes puts my mind on a lockdown Big Grin

In any case. I gave up on getting a user title long ago.

it was just a simple thing, an épaulette is a common word, there is no property on it! just tried to make a joke on it for fun! no worries Caelumaresh!

As a person that has a user title I can say that the moment of happiness lasts like 2 seconds and the you dont care anymore. Don't fall for the illusion that its for special people.
Same thing goes with having 3000 post count. Nothing special about it really.

*looks around for people overreacting or being greatly impassioned by this situation, doesn't find them, shrugs, leaves thread*

I'm confused.

I had a bit similar situation like yours, but instead of asked the return of user title, i asked the staff for a new (the first) one. (through a thread too)

But dang, the thread turned into a trap.

Some members (me included) had their user title turned into something cool or wacky against their will. (Unfortunately, i got the wacky one)

It has gone now, and i'm grateful for having back this average joe 'member' user title.

Maybe user titles could be given out -or- taken/changed as a reward/punishment for various things.

Like;

helping people out lots despite not being an Angel

keeping out of trouble/not causing problems/dramas

contributing to the overall 'story' of the servers in some fashion.

Of course the title wouldn't be special in most cases, it would be more like a 'generic' title, like 'Wannabe Angel' for a player who is always helping people out.

Specific 'special/unique' titles for members would be few and far between.

Mind you, we the players, would not know what was needed to get a title.

Can't see this happening though, it'd be one extra thing for the Mods/Admin to do.
