Staff, a majority of Disco people have spoken through the poll. they want titles properly back. In this disco age of a more open staff team, listen to the people. and bring them back.
Im not sure if I'd consider ~25 people to be a high majority or even a simple majority in any way.
The way user titles for members have to be dealt with at the moment is just annoying, considering that people do this in their free time without any kind of compensation, they tend to not do annoying things, if they can avoid them.
Some of the suggestions the 'majority' made are just not going to work, while others might be an option.
Guess we can figure something out in regards to this, alternatively, its just going to stay as it is, because user titles are nowhere nearly as important as other things.

First of all I'd just like to state that I don't care either way about the issue. Frankly, have them, remove them, it won't really change anything for the community. I'm just here to roleplay and stuff.
The point here is debatable. Back in 2010 when the community was much larger, there was little to no problems with costum user title, and practically no spam, especially not just to get them. Things just changed one day with no real explanation given. I understand that mods devote some of their free time to this without any real compensation, but it just looks like harmless fun to me.
Today there's even larger proportion of moderators than ever for an even smaller playerbase. I don't really see the issue about them if they'd be implemented.

Titles should be used for relevancy like they are for Faction Leaders. We have enough ways to display dank memes as it stands.

I don't see why people are making a fuss over usertitles. Sure, they are nice... But are they really nesssecary? People just ask for them for the sake of prestiege.
I don't really give a damn about it, so I won't even vote over a superficial matter.

This is actually why we didn't bring it back in the first place with the forum change. Even as a joke, people legit did "+1" posts just to increase their post count. Not to mention this is hardly the most important thing to be worked up about.
