While the work is very nice and all but I feel it lacks dynamicness to the shape. It's effectively in a 'block' - a linear design pattern. It doesn't curve or have any natural flow.

You'll have to wait until this model is included in the mod. Then you can get the files yourself from the mod or so and create renders.

I think it will. I like it, as well as plenty other people, navy players or not. I'm just glad to finally see an awesome replacement for the upholder that should've happened at least more than a year and a half ago.
Perhaps the "brick" shape is portrayed to you by the bulkiness of the armor plating, but generally speaking it's just personal preferences.
