I prefer fighters.
Statistically, however, I'm better in transports. This isn't because I'm good in transports, it's because my aim in fighters is terrible.

Saaabrreee. Was the first ship I piloted (apart from the Starflier) and I still love it. On the old vanilla server I played I was the only person flying a Sabre, so naturally I had to learn to joust to fight the Eagles' agility.
Other than that, I thoroughly enjoy spoon feeding fighters with my Falcatas' Super Nova. And I find piloting capital ships boring. And although its' not really combat, being chased across the map by half the Liberty fleet and making it out alive is also really fun. It'll take more than a cruiser, three gunboats and a handful of VHFs, or six assorted VHF/Bombers to take out my Falcata!

Hmm...difficult choice. Well no, not really. I prefer my cruisers. I'm really good in cruisers, crap in fighters, average in bombers. I've never used a gunboat, battlecruiser or a battleship.

I seem to suck in every fight i've ever been in so far, but i still love jousting with a bomber or a Sabre, it gets your heart pumping.
Although i wont be doing anything while my damn computer is still broken.

I'm quite good with a GB, I'd say, and since I have joined the SCRA, I think that I'm quite good in a RT as well. It's really fun if you, sitting in your RT, assisted by a Bomber, start wrecking 'sair GBs and Cruisers, though i also love bashing these Praetorians and fighter crafts our enemies bring to the battle;).
