Omi, Shiki, Antonio, Bloog, Danny went there while drunk (still better than me xd), Meph, Wesker, me (got the 200th kill btw), dunno about lazy Haste, etc.

Antonio also was on LN side too, that i know.

Le point?

You might as well nuke this thread and never do events again if this is the result (sun)

That's what bothers me. Because that's a heavy consequence for some bullcrap that I don't even know the reason why.

Shiki have really bad snac aim, rest logged not that often and you know it. SeaFalcon even have mentioned low GRN| activity on the event.

EDIT: Speaking of meph, poor guy was instakilled twice while staying on place and not even being engaged. Same happened to me, when I suddenly got killed by double missile cruiser without a single line or even active pews around.

But in the end, what's really the reason to justify the "bad sportmanship crappery" that happened in the event? Like why would someone do that in the first place?

Edit: Because after something like that happens, it also makes the other side react. And it creates a trend that leads to what we witnessed.

Hello, my name is Shiki and I'm snacing friendly caps.
I will just mention a little fact that massive upholders squads have appeared before GRN denied any kills and mainly caused it. And since I was quite literally the fist or the second person who denied a blue. I was really annoyed trying to save BC who was chased by tones of upholders for like 10 minutes . Cannot say that it was my plan, just wanted to scan it to see how much regens it still has, it was dry and nearly dead so I fired a snac which somehow reached it before other snacs and torps. Since all (not really numerous) sanctions are about caps I believe the reason is the same and pretty much clear.

That's why you are flying a fighter and not trying hard on the bomber like Shiki.

It's hardly advisable to use this event as the one punishing all other attempts that have been made in terms of events. If you look at the Delta one a week prior to the Cali story, it's kinda clear to see why this one wasn't very 'successful', at least in my eyes. Truth be told, I didn't participate in one single fight in that event because, compared to the Delta one, it was very, well, pointed in one direction only. PvP.

The Delta event had everything, which is why it was so good. You could trade, pvp, roleplay, all of it. The player count back then proved it. So it's probably best not to judge everything regarding events like it's done in here.

Razor'd. While i was dueling, 20k's away from any pew. Was fun.

It's okay. The event was fun nonetheless, and that's what's important. Now, let's just look forward to the next one. XD

RE: Operation Tourbillon - Conclusion - Antonio - 05-23-2016

Funny how in the end it doesn't matter if people suicided or not since it wouldn't have changed the outcome. So basically they got sanctioned and accomplished nothing but doing damage to themselves - losing guns, bothering with releasing their ships and having to fly from Picardy. Yes, they caused a lot of drama towards the other side, but now that you think about it - is it worth discussing now, after the event? I'd say no. It definitely was frustrating during the event, but now it's just a pointless discussion about something that was dealt with by via sanctions already. All we need next time is admins instantly deleting armors from people who do the same again. Move on.
