Usually no , but in newbie case they may be some compensation .

How did you lose 500 million and an Outcast Dreadnought?
Was it, perchance that you made the money, by Trading and then bought the Ship?
If so, then the money can be remade and the Ship re-bought, so in the end all you lost was time, like the rest of us.
