RE: Freeport 2 - Administrators Office - Stoner_Steve - 10-12-2017 Ted laughed loudly "If I'm just a lowly thug I sure am being overpaid." walked up and handed the man on the bed the 'Welcome To Freeport 2' pamphlet and adopted a stern tone "Welcome to Freeport 2, you would do well to not upset the locals." Ted gestured to the standing lady behind him "And while I will expect you to be kissing my ass soon enough for my help, you should probably start with her, seeing as she brought you here."

Eva's Sunbeam Before Remy had even uttered a word in response to Ted's informative words, Eva stepped forward drawing more attention to herself.
"Eva Fontaine. Charmed I'm sure. Sorry about that business in Gers, but to cut to skip a long story short, I saved your life. It would appear Rousseau placed a bit too much faith in me to run missions for him; Nathen was too cowardly to risk his own life in such a fray so I was sent in his stead to do the dirty work... that being said I have my own agenda."
Eva sounded ever so proud while she explained the situation, in what sounded like a slightly patronising manner. "While I agree with Rousseau's goal, I don't care for it as it doesn't benefit me overall. Nathen can be both an honourable and cowardly fighter. Not worth my time. You, on the other hand... you are someone who can get things done I hear. Someone I'd like to keep around, so I used the information from Nathen to find somewhere safe to bring you, and here we are. Anyway, hows your arm? Looked pretty painful when I put you in here." Her words slowly fade into a whisper. "Oh, and I hope the food was okay. I didn't have a fortune to spend on you."
RE: Freeport 2 - Administrators Office - Shalo - 10-13-2017 Remy became somewhat dumbfounded with what Ted had just said. He thought that both of them were there to kill him or maybe do something even worse, without even giving him the chance to die painlessly. It took him a few seconds, while the woman spoke, for the thought that he was being released to sink in. The only clear problem being that not only was he out of a ship but that he had no idea where this 'Freeport 2' was. Huh... oui.
He replied and nodded slowly to Ted, without giving it much thought. As he heard Eva talk about Nathen, he finally realized who she was. In the middle of all the mess near the Baffin Jump Hole, he hadn't memorized Eva's name. Even though she asked him about his arm, he didn't say anything back, as she clearly didn't care, seeing as she just kept talking. Oui, I'm very thankful. I've always told my friends and family I couldn't wait for the day someone would gun me down, take me as a prisoner and bring me to a place I couldn't even pinpoint on a map if I wanted to. Merci, bête. Tu es trés gentille.
Seeing as she was done talking, Remy replied with a sarcastic tone of voice. Let me just roll over for you, like a puppy.

Eva's Sunbeam Eva gently nods to his words, finding ever so slight amusement in his sarcasm.
"Well. You're entitled to believe you'd be better off without my intervention Monsieur. Perhaps I shouldn't have taken the job, and just let another Brigand deal with you. But do go on, I'm eager to hear how this is the worst possible outcome for you."
Eva returned the sarcasm back to Remy, yet her tone was in a far less amusing one while she tried to get him to actually take in and realise his situation. "Take your time, Monsieur."
RE: Freeport 2 - Administrators Office - Shalo - 10-17-2017 Remy muttered some incomprehensible words out of frustration, but quickly went quiet. Not really because he agreed with what she did or said, but he thought that letting Eva have her cake was the easiest way to get it over with. Alors, what is it you want?
He stated bluntly, glancing briefly at Ted while he spoke, still unsure what he had to do with any of this. I doubt you went to all this trouble just because of how charming you heard I was. Is it money you are after? If so, you brought me to the wrong place. It would be easier if I was in Picardy.
RE: Freeport 2 - Administrators Office - Stoner_Steve - 10-17-2017 Ted giggled to himself as Remy finished speaking "I defiantly want credits, but your friend here decided to take my demand for drugs instead." Ted closed the distance slightly between him and Remy "Personally I don't do anything for free" Ted backed into his original position "But Jimmy has asked that I handle this with a little more fervor, so rather than the long or short story we'll go with medium, well." Ted paused slightly at his own joke, before continuing "I represent a group called the Rat Pack, we're interested in muscling out the local arms dealers but we handle anything that moves. We're looking to get a little attention, and perhaps a little work from Brigands." Ted smirked "Although Eva will be more useful than you in that regard."
RE: Freeport 2 - Administrators Office - Shalo - 10-18-2017 With Ted's comment about the Rat Pack, Remy managed to at least get an idea of who he was talking with. The only 'rat' he had met prior to that was Jimmy. That didn't make him feel any bit better, as it didn't change the fact he was stuck there with two more than questionable individuals. Oui, mais what do I have to do with any of that? If you don't need anything from me, I'd appreciate if you two would let me leave. It may come as a surprise, but being stuck here is quite unbearable.
RE: Freeport 2 - Administrators Office - Stoner_Steve - 10-22-2017 Ted smiled to himself "Well you are certainly free to go." Ted snorted to himself "You are free to go beg for a ride off of this station, free to beg for credits for food, free to get kicked out of an airlock for being broke. Which we do consider a crime here." Ted leaned in close "The being broke is a crime part, not the throwing someone out of an airlock. Realistically I'm not letting you go anywhere until the Miss's over there pays me." Ted grew quiet for a moment. "Of course since you don't have any sort of credits I'm sure the Pack could be willing to provide some. At a small interest." Ted smirked "You might even be able to get off the station in once piece"
RE: New Providence (Formerly Freeport 2) - Administrators Office - Shalo - 10-22-2017 Remy sighed after Ted's little speech. He already knew one of those two, if not both, would try to get something out of him, but it still ticked him off that he had gotten himself in that situation. I don't think I'd need a loan. If either of you could get me a way to come in contact with someone in Gallia,
I could just have them bring me one of my ships or pick me up. He doubted they'd agree, but he still hoped that one of them would let him contact his brother or wife. That way he wouldn't be stuck in that station or have to ask any money from Ted. Does that sound possible?
RE: New Providence (Formerly Freeport 2) - Administrators Office - The Archangels Fighter Club - 10-22-2017 Sunny walked into the administrations office. He was wearing his presidential jacket and smoking a spiff on the edge of his lips. He had a sense of purpose as he walked in, knowing what he was looking for. He walked over to someone who looked like they were a secretary and took his sniff out, holding it between two fingers. A long puff of smoke blew into the air. "I'm looking for this supposed new Administrator. I'd like to have a word with him." |
