I am totally agreed with you.

Good lord. Just remake Samura| and show current playerbase is worth official status. Hijacking disbanded or dead factions should be prohibited by staff. Because it completely skews what it means to gain and keep official status. Some factions have to wait 6 months to gain official status despite being much more worthy than some dead factions ready to be scavenged by vultures.

This is a disgrace to what it means to be an exemplary official faction.

* E X O D I T E offers Snek a bucket of popcorn.

Trust me, it helps.

More on-topic, all I saw was an "intent to disband", not a "we are disbanded, kill all RP and lock our threads" in the style of AFC. All I see is HC drama, and that's something that none of us should have to deal with. Sure, squatting an official faction that's existing in limbo can seem scumbaggy, but considering the timing, it looks more to me like the end of a school semester and peeps deciding to put time into Disco again.

RE: Notice of intention to disband - Erik-Kieber - 05-11-2018

Ehmm, getting hospitalized isnt realy something i could help als samura member... i only came back a few dags ago and yesterday i noticed this post... That is when i tryt to get control of samura forum acount.

Before i and kruger made a lot of effort to get samura back on track and to see it gets disbanded like this... while there still where other means of contacting us members but he did not. He tryt skype wich is broken and only skype and then sended this post without trying other means to contact us members. After all the effort i put into samura to keep it going i can not stand this way of dealing from his side out. It can not be that samura dies out like this as there are still members regulary playing as samura...

Even tho it has been a couple of months i feel like there is still a good memberbase within samura to keep us going. Just because he claims he could not contact all of us does not mean the faction should die and specialy not when all he did try was skype.

After spending weeks trying to get in contact with the members I have had no response and the activity of this faction has absolutely slumped. I don't like whipping dead horses. If Shura wishes to acquire Samura's assets, please contact me, otherwise they will be given to the Kusari Government.

As far as we are concerned, Samura hasn't disbanded.

This post was noted, by us, but seeing as a) the highlighted line, above, was suggesting a possibility, b) they met the activity requirement in the last quarter and c) we have not received an Official Request to do so.

Samura is still an Official Faction.

Well that is great news but then we have a problem here... As owen is nop longer responding on any way to contact him we have no acces to the forum acount of samura. Is there anything that can be done about that then pretty pls?

Write a player request as I did, when I took over.

Bad one at that then. As I said, this is a disgrace. Why are you having higher requirements to become official faction rather than staying is beyond my comprehension.

And please do tell what higher requirements are required to attain Officialdom than what is required to remain Official?

You require factions to show good behaviour and quality content. Samura only offers powertrading ingame as mentioned by previous community members.

Although I don't understand why I care. I already lost faith in certain things about this community. I forgot that caring about oneself is the easiest way to remain under the radar while getting what you want.
