The two PoB battleships are balanced equally. The victory/defeat conditions of the two sides are identical. The PoB rebalance being tested aims to turn sieges more into PvP than PvB events, open to a wider range of people than before.

I do agree with Lyth about "inviting everybody and their mom because reasons" being a bad thing. Besides that though, the event is as fair as it can get.

I believe anything else, especially issues stemming from player conduct, is outside of the scope of this event, and should be dealt with accordingly. Optimally elsewhere.

THEN, this is the most balanced event I've EVER seen, by reading your post. I'm happy you don't feel the empathy, because there's no other way you can understand what I said. I guess whatever I type there's always an "explaination" to all of this, making me stupid and wrong. This is my last post of commenting on such things, it's better to be silent than to talk. There's no other way to fix this until whole disco wakes up.

Peace.

This event is unbalanced for the Crayterian side. It isn't involving the planification but the playerbase though. I suggest doing more Tau-44 guerrillas involving Crayters and Gauls.

RE: [Official Event] Operation Cathedral - Atreides2 - 11-06-2018

I just have to say that indeed is unbalanced due to playerbase. We can never ever achieve the numbers to stop the OC, due to different time zones and other priorities. But c'est la vie.

I'll issue a statement re: balance when I'm sober, because I don't believe the way I'd word things on that subject right now would be like.. the best way of handling things.

From what I've seen, outcasts have been more or less outnumbered every step of the way. All day long today the chat on discord was about how massive the CR fleet was sieging basilica and how we had nobody to stop it (a few bombers/caps here and there, but definitely outnumbered 2or3 to 1).

It goes back and forth. Right now it's lots of outcasts sieging helios, but earlier today it was the opposite. There's been plenty of pvp spats between both sides as well, and with winners and losers on both sides.

Sounds pretty balanced to me.

Crayters have more players in european TZ, OC in murican TZ. That i guess main issue, why both sides think they outnumbered.

nvm no point

Why is it that whenever the staff actually pull their finger out to try something new everyone just moans like little children? (because the forum wouldn't let me say another word) Be grateful. I think it's very different and very interesting, It's a shame that I have 0 interest in either faction involved but its a great thing for anyone who does and I for one want to see more of it, of this and of whatever they come up with next. For the mod to survive it needs to be ever-changing.

This at least gives me something to do on my outcast storta before i sell it on the market

When that new concept involves afk shooting a stationary object for 9 hours otherwise losing a storyline asset I can understand why people would find it unsettling. The event further solidifies the already community-declared shitshow that is the siege mechanic. Instead of molesting and demoralizing the base owner once, you get to do it multiple times for the same outcome. This changes nothing, so I don't believe the "hey stop moaning like little bitches, this is something new" is warranted.

EDIT: I agree with the concept of a player driven storyline, but not one that revolves around a terrible game mechanic. PoB sieges bring out the worst in people.
